Why do you think you got banned?: I 'harassed' a member of this community.

I wouldn't make this unless I'm really, really bored. 3 days is whatever. I'm looking out the floor to ceiling windows of my high rise apartment and for a moment I think to myself, "Maybe going outside is a good idea". Then I realize there's a fuckin viral plague outside and there's absolutely nothing to do.

Had I said something SO egregiously toxic (which I can do at times) or if I knew I had messed up, I'd admit it. I'm not like that dumbass @Don with no limits.

With that being said, I will appeal the ban on these facts/share my side and hopefully I can log in tonight to do my bosses with the best friends anyone could ever ask for.


Chapter 1: ioopy's rage
He smegaed R>SE for Zak run S>helms/SBs and at that time I was running zak solely to get TT10 so I whispered him and I said I'll join on BM but I need TT10. He said "ok ch x". I tp over on both accounts (VIP tp, mind you) and 5 minutes later he smega'd again for buyers and picked out a buyer who wanted TT10. I realize I was not promised TT10 but I would have been more than willing to pay for it; Like any boss run, usually the leader considers the needs of a party member. He just forgot that was something I needed. In the moment I got heated because he said he got a buyer and from my POV I stopped leeching to join this run, used rocks and here was this guy who had the mental capacity of my morning-after-chickfila shits that he had forgotten that TT10 was taken. I said, "TT was taken wtf" and he replied "You never said that" - (or some bullshit like that) then I retaliated with - and here's the best part - "You're a fuckin idiot"

Was this not warranted? There was absolutely no racism, no homophobia - it was a clean diss that was appropriate for the situation.

He IMMEDIATELY kicked me from the party and that's when you know ioopy gets tilted

This guy proceeded to use smegas for attackers/se and after every smega I used a few accounts to smega the following:
"hahahaha x's runs are ass" (his leading was atrocious)
"he's gonna lower the price to 20/10/5 if you wait 10minutes" (he was lowering the prices as he couldn't get buyers)
"LOLOL x: R>bishop PM level and range" (i whispered him on my HS mule ezhs saying I'll join and he asked me level and range)

So that was it for that situation. 3 smegas and a 'fuckin idiot' is what I got banned for.
*He claims that I mass defamed him, which I did not. Didn't defame him once - I smell bullshit here

Chapter 2: Reconciliation...
A few hours later, I connected with one of X's friends who is a very sweet person. She told me that as X's friend she felt uncomfortable to watch him getting absolutely destroyed by me and at that moment, I apologized to her. I realized while everything was warranted, I was immature, especially with the smegas. She and I became friends and she said she wanted me to talk to X. She brought us into a chat and I said you're still and idiot but it's fine. MB for the smegas making you look bad. He did not accept the apology but it was okay with me because he's just a small fish who happened to swim in the wrong ocean.

You didn't "harass" a member of the community, you did harass a member of the community.

Also, no, no it wasn't. You asking, and the tone of the appeal really screams you don't care about what you did, you only care that you got banned.

 

I mean... clearly I feel like this was a weak ban and I wanted to portray my side of the story and why certain actions arose.
Sure, it was "harassment" according to you. I have my own views/beliefs - that's a difference in judgment. If this is royals' standards of harassment I will gladly serve the duration of my ban and be more careful next time.

also - sorry about the tone. I naturally have a sarcastic tone and I don't vibe with certain people. Most vibe with me though. You must be too high IQ for me

 

Look idk why you're taking this so seriously - it's a 3 day ban and if I can get unbanned I will. I just had a little fun with the appeal which is based on facts from my side. We enjoy fun ban appeals

On a side note: Did you even see the evidence?

Can we get an actual GM to review and either accept or deny l o l

 

We take it so seriously because we've had people quit over the extent they've been harassed (and while action can be taken against the bad guys, it can be hard to mend bridges with affected players). I understand you may feel one way or another about how you acted (or didn't), but at the end of the day it takes little effort to be a good person especially on small server such as ours. I caution you in the future the outcome may not be what you expect as there were extenuating circumstances here (Gert mentioned this). Additionally, I know you were just trying to have fun, but next time I'd leave out all the pizazz in the appeal or it may be closed without consideration- if you want us to take your ban seriously, you should do the same.

Also, yes, I did see the evidence. Any Staff member can look at the ban logs and evidence and respond- even us lowly forum mods. We can all voice opinions on appeals, and deny them as well.

To elaborate on what Gert said, this came after further discussion among the Staff and wasn't a single person acting. As well, welcome back lol.
