I have played on the server prior and did not experience any issues / viruses like a year ago and now its giving me problems. Just posting so others may find help from an answer. I was using the free AVG security software and it was telling me the mapleroyals.exe had trojans in the download file and blocked it. I attempted to allow and tell it that it was okay with no success. It seems the very download software that the mapleroyals download is using to download is blocking me from executing the file. Im not really sure how to allow it because it is deleting the mapleroyals.exe file so i cant run as admin or anything. Any advice from staff on this ?
Update : At the end of the download i unchecked "launch mapleroyals" I believe the software was detecting it as malicious so i went to the program files location and ran it as admin from there and it was successful.
Happened to me on both my main PC and my laptop. Simply get into Windows' Protection settings and create an exclusion on the MapleRoyals folder. If you have it quarantined already, select ' Allow on PC'.
