    This update definitely has a lot of positive changes but also some I feel VERY unnecessary ones as well having a negative impact on certain classes and new players
    -To my knowledge nobody has ever complained about the NL/Sair projectiles and nlc potions prices. I feel both are unnecessary and makes the classes difficult and unplayable to new players
    -The decrease in spawn for Ulu estate maps are understandable and okay because there are alternatives but at least leave Petrifighters the way they were for Archmages especially that map is very valuable for them endgame for Exp and meso gains. without it the classes are left high and dry in later levels while Bishops still have the advantage at Dragons Nest AND the option to participate in boss runs
    - I feel like the drop rate nerf to regular mobs was just not needed and ultimately also have a negative effect on classes like archmages in particular
    If those problems can be fixed I think a lot of complaints will be addressed

    I'm just going to start off by saying the drop rates were not nerfed, just brought back to their original rates that they were at in old source, so long ago. The drop rates as they use to be were much higher than 2x and it wasn't supposed to be that high for so long.

    Oh okay thank you for correcting me on that but the other 2 issues, mainly the price increases really gotta go

    The update was up for like 15 mins so far. Please give these changes time to sink in before making a feedback thread about it. I know it seems like a bit much right now, but please be patient for a bit and if these changes are not working out like we hoped, there's always a way to update them.

    It was a staff member who suggested to make a post in the feedback section on the shoutbox. I get that its soon but the price changes for one is a foreseeable issue, one doesn't have to "test the waters" to know its a bad idea people can see that off the jump by reading the patch notes
    Not to sound ungrateful because I for one do appreciate the effort the staff put in to this game but this patch is giving off big bang vibes I've already heard multiple people quitting and leaving for other servers. For future reference i think extreme changes should be discussed with the community prior so nobody is caught off guard and you guys arent working on a project that would probably fail. I like this server alot nd would hate to see it go downhill becuse of some minor tweaks

    > I'm a fp arch mage. Level 145 or so.
    > I cast meteor and kill 10 petris, lets say. Assuming they drop around 3k mesos each (please correct me on this), there's 10 meso bags worth 30k spread around the map.
    > Petri map has 4 rows and you can actively hit 3 at a time which means you can actively pick up 2/3 of your cast (the row you're standing on and the one below by jumping down) without sacrificing too much efficiency when killing them. If I pick up 2/3 of 30k, that's 20k mesos I get from a single cast.
    > Now, I spent 17K mesos on that cast alone because with my mighty 12K mp, I can't really afford to cast meteor twice as it consumes 7K MP plus getting hit by a Petri is around 2.5K damage absorbed by magic guard.
    > In this example, profit is 3k per cast if it manages to kill 10 petris. If I kill 9, then there's zero profit.

    I know this example isn't taking npceables (equips) into consideration. But even then...
    Farming (meso+npcing) itself was around 35-60m per hour (on Ulu, a much better map for farming than Petris). I wonder how much its gonna be now with 5 times the cost and less spawn.

    To me personally, its also stressful to think about my potion consumption now that they're so expensive. If I wanted to sell leech, how would I do it if I'm hesitating on pressing the meteor key if I'm not surrounded by mobs? Isn't that terribly inefficient? I wanna relax if I play a mage. Well, idk man. While it's true I haven't even tried playing with these changes, I reckon its also valid to just modify the variables that went through changes (pot price, spawn) this update and apply them to how everything worked before for a somewhat accurate result of how its gonna be.
