When I try to open MapleRoyals the screen will go black like it's about to open then I get this error code and it says "The parameter is incorrect." When I restart my computer it lets me log in just fine but if I log out or d/c then try to log back in I get the error code again. Any ideas?

delete your maplestory folder completely , everything .. Including the wz files etc . Redownload . Play it , if it does the same thing , Reset your modem , and instead of clicking scania as the world and channel then clicking your own character, click the " SELECT CHARACTER " Tap on the bottom left and go from there. It fixed my problem .

Your problem was not the same error. Your problem was due to a MAC ban.

Yeah it's Windows 8, seems to be the same problem as the link. If I keep changing the compatibility settings it'll let me in, but only after changing it a few times. Then my next time in I have to do it again. So it works after a bit of messing with it. This just adds to my growing list of reasons to install Windows 7 though. Oh well. Thanks for the help!
