IGN: Mooltipass (main), singlepass (character I created to test the issue) Problem: After selecting my character - either my main or an alternative account I created after running into the issue - and entering my PIC, the game quits with a "You have been disconnected from the login server" message box. Details: Yesterday I voted for NX, and just leveled my character up by doing solo quests/grinding. I run Windows 10 in a virtualbox from Ubuntu, and I could play yesterday (4/20), and a few days ago. I have also tried reinstalling with the latest files. Should I submit a ban appeal? The game doesn't necessarily crash as much as just exiting, so I'm unsure. EDIT: also just tried connecting from my phone's hotspot, but no dice, so I guess it's not an IP refresh into a banned IP.
Bumping this to update: booted my windows, updated for way too long, and it worked. Turns out Virtualbox does not inherit the MAC from my network card, so the randomly generated MAC from Virtualbox seems to be banned. I changed it to my real MAC address and it worked again. Could an admin please shed some light on how MAC banning works? Is there a risk my real MAC gets banned because it's coming from a VM or something?
