As we all know by now the prices of ginger ales have shot up from 3,800 mesos to now 16,500 mesos. Additionally, the drop rates of equips and potions have severely been nerfed. Now, I understand that there has been a need to create a larger meso sink in this games' economy, as well as reduce the amount of new money that can come into the community but I feel as though this is too far of a drastic change for the game. As a bishop, I used to buy 2400 ginger ales every time I repotted, costing me around 9mil, however now with the increased prices of ginger ales, that same repot would cost me almost 40mil. Considering that I might burn through 600 ginger ales in one hour of selling leech, it is now costing me 10mil for 1 hour of leech. I know that this doesn't sound as bad as it seems, but it is ridiculous how much of a loss that we are now at, considering that equips drop less frequently now. Some leeching spots allow you to earn that amount back within the hour just from selling equips (even after the nerf), however for the lower level players just starting their bishops and who can only sell low-level leeches, the equips that they sell does not add up to the money spent on ginger ales or whatever potion they may feel like they need to use. My suggestion is to make the price of ginger ales less severe - something like 10k each - rather than 16,500 each. There is still a reasonably large meso sink through this, but it is not as extreme and would make a lot of players happier. The current state of ginger ales is less than ideal for all players, I'd like to see - and I'm sure a lot of other players would like to see some changes made towards them. Even making a potion like sunrise dews more affordable, rather than 8k ea, to something like 4k ea would be a reasonable alternative to ginger ales. Thank you for reading.
