Hey man not to sound rude, but honestly most of your solutions are always pointing towards us in the client side. The only way for me to fix it was to use a VPN and for some god forsaken reason it started to work, its really a chance game cause some IPs you guys already blocked, but after shuffling around different IPs for 5mins I can finally start playing. I don't know how long I can keep this up though. I really hope this doesn't get me ban for logging in from multiple IPs.....
It's okay, I have suggested the following issues as it work for 50% of the players, but some are still stuck For 50% of the players that got it solved 1) restart PC - 50% 2) Windows Update + restart - 20% 3) Make new character and login it - 10% 4) re-install and restart - 20% 5) Clean Boot - only me after trying the above steps About what you have mentioned about the IP address, I have tried restarting my PC to see if my IP address will change, but it didn't So the issue you are facing are probably different from mine I don't think Royals blocked any IP address (unless banned users) Edit: a player solved it via Network Reset https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-reset-network-settings-in-windows-10-4684679
I can't seem to go in through a VPN since most IP from the VPN has been banned. Anyway are there any other proper solutions? I still can't enter the game despite trying all the solutions like Clean Boot and reinstalling.
Having the same issue. Tried logging in with new char, still cant. Also my account PW wasn't working. I reset it with the exact same PW and I could log in. Wtf? ~bump~
Looks like someone found the issue to this. It's having a VPN program on (even if the actual VPN is off). The new NordVPN update today made me start disconnecting again. I just right click, and exited the program. MapleRoyals works fine now.
I guess I should update my own situation with this issue. Some days the game works and other times it doesn't. At this point it feels completely out of my control. Everyday i just launch the game to see if it works and if i have time to play, i do. This issue is quite baffling and i'm not sure how an issue like this emerges out of no where. People say it's a VPN issue, but if it was, shouldn't it just not let you launch the game in the first place? prior to this patch I actually did have a VPN problem and the game wouldn't launch at all because the connection was being blocked by my ISP. How am i allowed to connect to their server and then just get denied once i log in? Hasn't the connection already been made? Clearly this is an issue I know nothing about on a technical level lol. If it's out of their control, it's pretty excusable, but if it actually is an issue with something the server staff is responsible for I find it pretty inexcusable. I literally can't play the game when i want to which is probably the most important feature of the game (being able to log in and start playing at all).

For me, Matt, this fix seems to have worked. i've launched it on a Monday and Wednesday this week and no issue. I appreciate the work you guys are doing to fix it.
Just to bump this up, the new file worked for me for one log-in, tried to log in today and it's the same issue.....
