thanks, but none of the solutions work. I have windows 8.1 pro. The 60 Hz thing was already set and got all the c++ visual studio packs installed up to 2019. Also, the file that Matt says to put on the desktop is not on the mapleroyals folder
This worked for me : I uninstalled Visual C++ 2015, then I restarted my computer. After, I downloaded these updates (and made sure I had the prerequisites): 1 - KB2919355 (April 2014 Update) 2 - KB2999226 (Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows) Then I reinstalled Visual C++ 2015, made sure MapleRoyals was not installed already and re-did the installation of MR. Hope it works for you too.
