Well, i figured i can make a post about this. I had a little situation today, and i just wanted to share the sadness to the world I've learned in my years on this planet, that some people can't handle being friendly to other people. And now heeeee look, another perfect example If you wish, take a look at the vid. This guy named "Nept" kinda stole my spot in fm1. Although a gm told me that it isn't illegal, i still think it's unfriendly, especially the way he talks afterwards. Sorry for the bad taping, apparently it's kinda hard for me to put up a store and film straight at the same time.. I don't care about the spot that much. Just want to make this tread since i love how friendly most people are in this server, and want to show the world of royals the people that somehow ruin that happy place.
Pretty uncool for people to steal spots, especially when you didn't even leave that spot, but if a spot is open, most people thinking logically are going to take it.
Kinda sad that he chose to taunt you. People in this game are bitches. Not much you can do about it. People jumping/glitching spots and getting away with it is a bigger issue than sniping, though.
This is ridiculous you have time to do everything except opening the store? with how you act it's like you want to lose the spot i don't close a store afk for 20 sec while i think on what my store should be called. Why did you even start the recording? you film it instead of opening the store again and you had plenty of time. Even posting this is even worse, you are mildly harassing him and "shamming" him for something he did nothing wrong and since after seeing this i know it's your fault you lost it that he says "thank you" is even more appropriate. You gave him a fm spot should he cry and beg for mercy? If anything delete this thread and ban ts for harassment, it can't be okey to call out someone as being a bad person when you don't break the rules and this guy clearly films it to make someone steal the fm spot. You are the rude one.
You know... You did lose that spot fair and square. What made you want to record yourself re-opening your shop and taking the extra time to do so, when you could've easily re-opened within seconds without it? Sure it sucks- but I've had the same thing happen to me when I didnt take more than 10 seconds to reopen. There's nothing really unfair about it. You closed your shop, someone came and opened it while you were opening yours.. It happens.
Did you even see the video Egonics? The "freeze" moment before i was able to name my store was because of lagg, which is proven by the fact that i clicked the shop twice, and had to click the first one away to fill in the name in the second. This is all because of lagg, not because i chose to afk for 20 sec. The fact that i recorded it has nothing to do with having plenty of time to open a store. I may not acted 100% fast, but it was not 1% like you say it is.. If i did act normally without a camera, there wouldn't be enough time to open it anyway. You can see the moment he jumps in. Now i will explain to you why I filmed this, because your reason why i should've done this sounds pathetic to me, and i would not do such a thing. When i was new in this server i had a little situation with Cifer, because in my screen i was at the spot faster than he was, but afterwards he claimed the spot because he said he was there before i was. Ever since than, i took it as a rule. WHICH is why i filmed this, to me this was my proof that i was on that spot earlier than anybody else. The knowlegde that this does not mean you claimed the spot, came to me after i recorded this. An example, when i see an empty spot with someone standing at it, i walk past that spot. WHY? Because you can ASSUME that someone is opening a spot there, and therefore it's FRIENDLY to walk past this. If you don't get this, i feel sorry for you.. Now i understand that he wants that spot and didn't do anything against the rules to get it, but it is not only my opinion, but a fact that this is not very friendly behavior. You can still be a bad person by not braking the rules, to me thats by spoiling the fun for others. In this case it's by being unfriendly. You're image of me was just a false illusion, therefore i dislike the way you speak about me. The fact that my information about the rules was incorrect, does not change the fact that his behavior was unfriendly.

What I can see you doing is film it, you lagg for 4 secs and then you click cancel but nothing happens then you start fumble with the camera and it takes you much much much longer time since you think video it will do any good. I can open 2 stores and switch character in that time (with no lagg) if I want to keep a fm spot i will do it fast not start doing things completely unnecessary. What you do is what you do, your opinion is not the defining factor of right and wrong, he did correct by the rules and in my opinion there is nothing unfriendly taking a fm spot if you can't open a store in less than ~30 sec. Funny fact he did even open it before you so you are the one stealing his spot, who is the rude one?
Funny facts: -It took me 30 sec, 8 sec lagg included. You cannot open 2 stores and switch char in 22 sec. -I wasn't even concentrating on the video, which you should've seen by the offscreen filming. -You're calling me "rude", right after accusing me of harassment. This prove to me that you only care about accusing and attacking me, even without any logical argument or thinking. You are therefore from now on ignored.
You're sounding really entitled here. You did take a while to open your store. FM spots are not guaranteed. There is no rule against what that guy did. Pretty much everyone who opens stores regularly in FM have lost slots like this. Instead of taking great insult to this guy taking your spot, why can't you just let it go? You claim that you want people to be friendlier with each other on the server but you're pretty much throwing a fit over a FM spot; Why can't you take the initiative and just let it go? Store spots aren't even that big of a deal; it's less about location and more about prices anyway, fairly priced goods will sell regardless of where you end up selling them. EDIT: Just noticed it's FM1 Yea if you're going to complain about someone trying to take your spot in FM1, I don't even know what to say.
My way of thinking is since he hasn't broken any rules and since you made a thread solely to point him out, i don't make the rules but that is uncalled for and since defaming is harassment me personally find this much worse. You had that spot no one can be faster than you unless you do other stuff than actually setup the store I have no grudge against you, "I ain't trying to gash up i just call it how i see it". (Stolen quote) Don't act like a better person when you do all this because you can't setup a store, That's why i call you rude. Location, Location, Location
How is this not a bannable offense yet. It's glitch abuse plain and simple, and the some of the perpetrators make it very obvious.
As i said in my first post, i don't care about the spot that much. it's the unfriendly behavior that is bugging. And no i am not going to explain again why not going against the rules may still be unfriendly. Also for extra info, the uptime was 23:55:xx, which is why i decided too remake my store and is what makes this situation even sadder. Spots at a time like that, are guaranteed. But I don't want to explain myself anymore, since enough info is above. I now know the things that i've done wrong but my opinion about shop stealing is still the same.
Yes we understand Nept did nothing wrong. Yes the poster took an extra 20 seconds to set up his store. Yes, no rules are broken. The point he's trying to make is that IT'S STILL RUDE. Life isn't kind, but why can't we be to each other?
Just to let people know that BOTH shop were closed by GM and i went back to Frederik took my item and re-opened.
In GMS you wouldn't even be able to set up a spot as soon as you created a name for your shop. Is there a possibility that we get that fixed? This guy just tries to reset his spot (Fair enough to keep your spot if you put effort in it) All this guy tries to show, is that sometimes we should maybe think about eachother instead of only ourselves, which seems fair in my opinion.
