    Hi there,

    I requested a self-ban to prepare for my summer semester. I was informed most recently that it is cancelled.

    While your rule states a self-ban cannot be lifted "no matter why or when you were banned", might I point out that in certain circumstances (especially now during the stay-at-home requirement) this rule should have an exception (See: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/so-you-want-a-self-ban-read-here-first.131445/).

    Although I remain occupied, I also find myself having more free time than usual. I'd be happier spending this leisure time indulging in the guilty pleasures of Mapleroyals. Please kindly lift my self-ban as soon as you're able to.

    Sorry but we do not unban people prematurely unless we have made a mistake on our parts. You agreed to the length of your ban so you will have to serve it, there's nothing we can do.

    It's been 3 good months. Can you kindly lift my ban as a gesture of goodwill? Or lift the ban for one full week and then re-instate it till the expiration of my original self-ban. Thanks.

    And I've corrected your basic spelling error: "bear in mind", not "bare in mind". Clearly someone who "don't hold grudges over you for the comment or have any bad blood with you" is holding one, and does not seem to have graduated from high school.

    I'm honestly unsurprised at how this game is run by the "moderators," "developers," "administrators" and "GM interns" who don't seem to have anything better to do in life than to police an online game through questionable "rules."

    At no point was I ever rude to you, you just attacked me (and for some reason knew I'm a student in university? I had never mentioned this previously, worry about yourself, not me.) I don't know whether you were malicious because you realized you were in the wrong or because you are jealous of me for some reason. All I'll say is this: you are really making a fool of yourself. Why are you so fixated on me and my degree? Why are you insulting me? What in the world have I said to you to upset you so much and make you so angry, all I did was quote that you agreed that your ban could not be lifted any earlier.

    I won't stoop to your level, even though I dislike you as a person. However, you should watch how you speak to staff members. I won't allow you to speak down to me again and you will be punished.
