Hi Joon, its me again, About the Gen Preq, after genesis is secured, do we need to do the htpq preq again before being able to get HT?
Technically the party can skip HTPQ if theres someone in the party with “Certificate of the Dragon Squad” or better known as “Badge”. Unless no one have it in the party. The HTPQ is then required to enter the expedition sign up map. To obtain this badge, you must complete the quest Badge of a Squad Member which requires that HTPQ.
How much estimated funding is required to 1hit skele? Currently 161bs with gene10, 1064 tma. Basically everything clean except for 31int zhelm. Currently debating to fund till i can 1hit skele or just fund an attacker instead. Currently have about 2bil in mesos
I recommend investing in your bishop. Its a mesos making machine anyway! It deserves love. Well for starters, 2bil is a little tough to start off with Its really tough to pinpoint how much you need. But one usually requires 3bil for both genesis 20/30. You might be interested in selling lower level leech, for now, to fund up your bishop. For Genesis 20 & Genesis 30. Well, Depends on your luck really. Spoiler: Genesis20/30 prices GEN 20 - May 3 2020 GEN 30 - May 6 2020 Moving on from there, u need to make the requirement of 1291 TMA, I suggest investing in a decent wand 185TMA wand 6 ~1.5bil HTP 380mil, Krex Ring 50mil, 28int Overall, 24tma earring, 18TMA cape. lvl30-40 shoes with 8int Entry level Glove and shield. (Cheap ones would work for these 2) -------- Is it worth it? Yes, it is! Skele goes for easily 130mil/H. Your bishop would earn back these amounts in probably less than a week or two! Starting an attacker depends on which class you like. Budget yourself around 8bil before starting one! I do recommend washing the attacker class!
Hi Joon----I'm currently approaching lvl 177, with 28,253 mp. Started mp washing at lvl 157 and I see you mentioned washing an attacker class. I also have just over 300 AP resets saved up which is roughly about half of the 650 recommended. Really just looking for some reassurance before I fully dive headfirst into the final phase if hp washing. The goal is to comfortably be able to run horntail as the main bishop consistently without being on voice chat or discord and have enough hp to tank the dark wyverns without MG. Time and time again, I've heard pros say you really only need 2.2k hp if you know the mechanics extremely well, but I've also heard high-level bishops with 5.7k hp complain about how they die during an HT run. Fortunately, I was able to pass Genesis 20/30, as well as Maple Warrior 20 so I'm already pretty invested on this character, but I'd just like to hear what you think about the progress and the direction you might take a bishop who would like to participate comfortably in HT. In addition, My hp at level 176 is currently 2,429. Thanks again!
Good day neo4u! Hopefully this guide is enjoyable for you so far! For sure, 2.2k HP is more then enough if one performs under the mechanics perfectly and paying 100% attention in a single horntail run. I highly suggest washing above 5.5k and not remain the 2.2k range! to really sit back, relax during the run and hey even reply in guild chat or buddy chat from time to time. For bishops that die within the 5.5k HP range would probably be due to the lack of understanding the dispel timer from head B & Left arm. While horntail is dispelling soon. Bishops around that HP range should not be jumping towards head B and dispel to remove defense up. Well there are lots of different cases, but this is the most common case i’ve witnessed myself. - Player jumps to dispel head, horntail dispel, player recieves touch damage from horntail resulting in his/her unfortunate death.
Thanks so much for this guide, new to MapleRoyals and decided to start off with Bishop, might even main it. This might be a dumb question, but is there a way to be a "quest completion-ist" on Maple Island and still job advance at level 8 ? If not, will missing out on the 3-4 levels of not having MaxMPIncrease hurt in the long run ? I'm a bit OCD about this kind of "stupid" stuff. Thanks again !
If you're looking to complete all quests in maple island i believe you should end up at around lv13 or so? but 3-4 Level of not having MaxMP Increase would not hurt at all !, most bishops have a large overflow of mana by the time you reach end game anyway I think the norm should leave maple island immediately after level 8 and look for Grendel the really old, but everyone has their own way of enjoying the game. Heres the Guide made by @Tect.
Im lvl 150 and i started mp washing at lvl 147 i washed already 3 times 15 ap points +5 mp -5mp to int.. but it seems really awful.. i only have 14.3k mp.. and 2.4 hp... how will.be able to get 5.5k hp? if really is the mp to hp is -90mp +10hp... how can i get plus more 3000 hp?... its imposible
Don't look at what is shown on screen when you wanna reset. The ratio is about 1 : 2 ( ~15hp : 30mp per reset) It gets easier, for now you can just continue with fresh AP > MP > back to INT after every level until you have a sizable MP pool then you can start washing out to HP. I usually wash about ~1.5k HP (3k MP)at one go.
every lvl i gain in aveage 300 mp more to my original mp, so basically every 10 levels i can hp wash 100aprs for 1.5k hp? and i'll have the basic mp pool just with 1.5k hp more?
Instead of washing it the method u mentioned, i recommend you start of with simply MP washing for a larger MP Pool. + MP and -MP to add into Int for every AP u gain after level 150. When you plan to participate in HT, all you need is 1 ap inside HP/MP pool, -MP and + HP till you have the HP your aiming for. Which probably would be 5.5k HP. Then after to continue to MP wash eventually ending with 20k~30k MP
so now just to +5mp -5mp to int? i gain with this every lvl 300+ more mp if that continues i'll have 23k mp at level 180, just mp with unwashed hp which means i cannot go to HT at level 155, and its anoying me
Whenever u plan to participate in horntail, you can remove the MP into HP. That way by lvl155, the rough estimate of HP/MP pool would be 5.5k HP / 8~10k MP You would then after push to increase ur Max MP.
Actually I made a dummies guide for myself and you definitely can't complete all the quests on Maple Island for a mage-to-be. For other chars, you should be able to at level 10: Talk to Sam Kill 10 snails *********** Talk to Maria Letter for Lucas Sam's 10 snails - Complete Nutritious Juice = 1 squishy liquid + 5 mushroom spores Talk to Yoona Helping out Yoona - 10 Blue snail, 10 Shrooms Talk to Rain Quiz Talk to Pio Chair quest Talk to Lucas Maria's Letter - Complete Lucas Daughter - 7 red snails (then see Yoona) Gain Lucas Reply after Letter for Lucas (go back and see Maria after Mai) Take letter from Maria to back to Lucas. Chief's Intro Talk to Mai - Equip heandband and razor 1) First training = 3 tree branch, 5 stumps 2) Go to Bari in SouthPerry and kill 5 stumps********* Talk to Lucas before Mai and take Protect Lucas Farm quest 3) Go back to Mai and kill remaining stumps to complete the branches requirement after bari's 3 branches are taken********** 4) Kill 7 red snails TOTAL******** 5) 3 slimes and 2 squishy liquid TOTAL ************* 6) See Yoona for Lucas Daughter completion 7) Kill 10 Blue Snail (5 shells), 10 shroom (5 spores) and 5 snail***** 8) See Maria for Nutritious Juice completion - get juice for Shanks 9) See Lucas for Protect Lucas Farm completion (Level 8 ~30%) 10) Go see Biggs in Amherst and back to Mai then and kill 2 pigs (turn into Mai and Biggs) ***** skip for mage 11) See Lucas for recommendation (Level 9 ~16%) 12) See Bari and kill ~2 orange mush and 2 cap (Level 9 ~74%) 13) Biggs (1 orange cap, 5 blue snail shells, 2 pigs from earlier) and Olaf's quest (Level 9 ~91%) 14) Talk to Shanks (Level 9 ~99%) 15) Travel to Lith and talk to Olaf (Level 10 ~99.91%)
doesnt rly hurt if u advance at lvl 10 since u nid to be at lvl 10 to even start adding max mp increase but u do lose out on a bit of mp from the mage advancement tho. however, n dun quote me on this, i believe u get slightly more hp cos u stay a beginner for 2 lvls?
Since you're planning on being serious with your Bishop, don't forget to also do the following: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/new-method-to-save-mp-when-hp-washing-a-mage.143186/ It's a pity I only got to know about this recently. Would have saved me more MP if I found it sooner.
Hi Joon, I'm a returning player trying to get by selling leech. Thank you so much for the guide it helped me immensely 1-2 years ago I even believe I asked a question on this thread some time ago. I just returned playing and I have 2 questions, why are potions so expensive now? which ones do I get now to save the most money? do we get normal elixirs now instead of ginger ales? also what is the usual rates you get by npcing items and selling scrolls on skeles per hour? just trying to make sure I'm doing good
Recovery % Potions is now rebalanced in patch #65 : https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-65-18-04-2020.155184/ Ginger Ales should still be the best potion to Opt for unless if u can strike a good deal in FM for elixirs or Power Elixirs, then again finding a good deal cost time.. and time is mesos so. Yup Ginger ales is still the way to go! I Suggest Maxing out Infinity Earlier & MP washing to save potions. In 1hour of skele leech, you should receive at approx 35mil~45mil worth of items Look out for Blue King Cents, Sparta, BM Overall and Warrior Pants too! Those can fetch a lot additional mesos
