Notice Emergency Server Check 19/09/13

    There is currently an Emergency Server Check.

    This is mainly to patch another remote hack exploit.

    There should not have been a rollback, and hired merchant items should be saved.

    The server check should be completed by 14:00 BST 21/09/13

    What is the time in BST?

    8 hour difference. For example, if it's 10 PM in England, it's 2 PM in California.

    Question for Matt: Will I be able to vote and get my daily 8k NX during the server check? Or should I wait until the server is up and running before voting?

    So at 10pm tonight in california, is when the patch should be complete. i didn't know this server was based in england. would not have been able to tell because, well, you can't type with a british accent. haha

    ^ could of been 2pm - 12am, 2am - 12pm, 12am - 2am? all are within 20/9/13

    I only use 24 hour clock. 2pm would be 14:00

    They are sleeping? lol and i was waiting whole night like a idiot lol to hope the server comes back up sooner...

    It's past the estimated time, isn't this nostalgic of gms xD ? It doesn't really bother me, I'm a patient person.

    At least the forum is running fine. It must be on a different machine than the game server.

    For some reason in MapleSEA, the official Asiasoft forum was either on the same machine as the game server, or located in the same server farm or something... because whenever there was a server check or patch, the forum would crawl to incredibly slow speeds. So whenever the game went down, you would go to the forum to check on updates and read posts, but that became extremely frustrating due to laggyness. Retarded, right?

    This was around 2006-2009. I think they migrated the official forum to Playpark.net or soemthing recently.
