Mapleroyals has been an amazing experience for me.
I took a lot of breaks, but always came back for the community.
I started playing in 2016 to relieve nostalgia, and didn't think I'll still be playing the game 4 years later.
Hopefully this time I can actually quit maple- Wasted all of my meso, nx and I don't have any valuable items because I am a noob.

I don't have dramatic reason to quit, nor a reason to stay. I just want to move on with life, and spending 8 hours on the forums/in game every single day is a bit too much, eventhough I don't really have a choice(if you know, you know).

I would like to personally thank some people, or groups-

To the staff on the server- Thanks for doing your job, people often forget you are just volunteers who want to help and improve the server, but without you, royals would be in a different place.
@Matt - The man with the yachts and ferraris, who still has time to make sure an old school maplestory server is up and running. Thank you for literally everything.
I'm glad things have been working out, so far 2020 has been a phenomenal year for mapleroyals, and it's really nice to see the server in a great place.
I remember old sauce being absolute garbage, and after experiencing the bad times, I think it's important to embrace the good times.
@Tim - Honestly I didn't get to know you much, but I want to personally thank you for still being around and doing great job on the staff.
@Gert - My man. I'm glad I asked who plays rocket league in the shoutbox and we somehow met, definitely one of the purest and kind people I've ever met. You're gonna go far kid, just keep grinding.
@Resignation - Thank you for inviting me to your guild. You guys are truly amazing people, and I'm glad I met every single one of you.
@israeli community - Holy shit you are a fucking mess. There are a few great people in the community(@MayCookies @LichWiz and a lot of more players who distanced themselves from the community) but they are easily overshadowed by the amount of rude and toxic players.
I truly believe that at some point the Israeli community will be better, and I wish you the best of luck.

If I didn't mention you personally it's not because I forgot, but because I don't want to make a grocery list. But it doesn't mean I don't love you.

To every single person I met in the community, thank you for everything.

He didn't say every single player from Israel is toxic. That's not true. But there are a lot of players that are rude, toxic, cheaters or all of the above, and that's the rep they give our community - whether we like it or not. That's exactly why I don't have many Israeli friends on the server. I do have some, and they're great, but I feel like the majority of the Israelis are not people I'd wanna hang out with in game or associate myself with, which sucks.
The community doesn't need Hamburg to give it a bad rep, the players do it themselves. Instead of complaining about Hamburg try to improve the community (which used to be great a couple years ago, we even had an IRL meeting which I organized)

 

honestly, I think it took you, one toxic player, for you to rage on (appears to be an Israeli) to blame an entire community.

to be real if you check the ban appeal section you will notice more israeli appeals than from different countries now, which is sad.

It has nothing to do with being tagged. I didn't even know he tagged me until I saw the post and it caught me by surprise. I'm an old player and I've seen the Israeli community go through multiple phases, and when I quit in around 2018 the community was great. Like I said above, I was active in it and even arranged a meeting. I was in a guild with mostly Israelis and had many friends in the game form Israel. But now when I came back I was shocked to see the amount of Israeli players, and when there are a lot more players it makes sense there will be a lot more assholes too. I have made new friends in the game from Israel; but I've also seen many who hack, scam or RWT, and that saddens me because these people are the ones who give the rest a bad name. Hamburg pointed a finger at us as a community, telling us we need to improve ourselves, and he's right. He didn't mean for other people to hate on us, but for us to realize we need to shun out the bad seeds in our community so people don't see us that way.

 

well the fact that he tagged two pepole and hinted that the rest are trash is just sad that a person who got influnce does that just gonna add to the hate that israeli people got in this server
there are so many israeli communites in this server and just like i got a mostly israely guild and i have arranged a meeting aw its just sad that he had to point it out so publicly

as for u meeting very nice that u guys have but i realy get that (we also met irl 2weeks ago)
i do not think people should say things about a hole community there are diffrent people for each community good bad skem etc...


and fact is from now on people will be more 'worried being scammed' awhile dealing \ buying \ partying with the isareli community now

If you think you're not a toxic player, then you shouldn't be affected by whatever Hamburg said. And I share the same thoughts as @MayCookies as well.

In any case, he made this post as a player and he is free to do so. Now that he is self banned, I doubt he can read your replies.
