Error message "unable to connect to..."

    Hi,

    I played mapleroyals about a year ago and during that period this problem or something similar to this was solved where the problem was my location or something of that nature, which required an IP approval(i think). After playing for a few months, I stopped playing for a good 7-8 months, during which there were 2 patches.

    Now, since i've got free time on my hands again, i'd like to start again and to no avail. I've tried manually replacing the files(with the updated files) and with that, only upon clicking "select character" did the message appear. As a result, I deleted the entire client and re-downloaded (mac client since i'm on a mac) which kinda made it worse. The same message appears claiming either the server is down or my firewall is blocking access. However, upon replacing the client, it now appears immediately upon opening the client, I now don't even see the loading page let alone the log in page. Hope this is resolved!

    Sorry for not posting, had to change the image file from .tiff to .jpg haha didn't realise. Anyway attached is the error message. Btw, I use wineskin winery to play the game, I just trawled the forums for a way to play the game on a mac like a year ago and that was one of the two ways available. So, I followed a step by step procedure and I could play, anyone thinks this is a reason as to why I cannot log on? Thanks.

    You came at a bad time... the server is currently down and has been for a few hours :p
    Check the shoutbox for updates, I think we'll have to wait 'till an admin wakes up...
