Just hit my first 120 in my MS Career TT
Do I need the GENE 10 quests completed as a prereq in order for me to use a GENE30 book?

And if so... can someone help with the HTPQ

 

You can attempt level 20 skillbooks with 5 SP in the skill and level 30 skillbooks with 15 SP in the skill.

Yep so you'll need to finish the Gen 10 prequest to get Genesis. Then put five points into Genesis before you can use Genesis 20. Then 15 into Genesis before you can use Genesis 30.

 

You forgot the tears after every failed genesis book

 

You've only truly earned your wings once you've failed one of the three big books.

Congrats on 120! I recommend selling low level leech with level 1 Genesis and MW at level 9 - this should allow you to 1-hit mobs all the way up to Fantasy Theme Park 1 (level 75 and below). No point putting in more points early because all it does is consume more MP (and money).

You can consider getting Genesis to 20 when you hit 130 and are able to equip your Elemental Wand and are also able to possibly 1-hit Harps. But if you don't plan to move to Harps, Genesis 1 should suffice for your low level leeching purposes. Level 20 Genesis consumes 4k MP, a rather hefty amount!
