Hi, over the past few weeks my mac book has started a new tradition of its own ... Its perfectly normal throughout the game nothing unusual but when i come to bossing it does this weird thing where it turns itself off then turns back on again !! But ONLY when bossing .... not even a disconnection from the game .. I have sent a few reports to Apple itself, since after each time it gives me the option to, but no response (shocker) . Its getting really annoying ... So are there any other Mac users having the same problem ? Or is it only me ? If so how can i solve this ??? Please comment Since I'm a Night Lord here what i do most of the time is bossing ...
Bossing with mac is not a good thing.... i think it was when we had the cake event with the cake boss the same problem happened to me where my imac just shuts off. I fixed it by using pc
If the boss you're referring to is zakum, then that's normal because code for zakum hasn't been translated from windows to mac. When you're in zakum running on mac, your comp shuts down because it just does not know what to do anymore
I've had a few kernel panic's when in Zakum on Mac, but only as a result of not changing graphics very frequently. Windows is the way to go for Zakum/HT.
Has anyone tried running it in a wrapper based on the latest WINE version or applying the D3D patch? I can't test any of those bosses because I'm not high enough of a level
