I started playing Royals after losing my job due to covid-19 situation and the quarantine leaving me with really nothing else to do. Ever since restrictions have been lifted I started staying at my parents' during the weekends. I play using my own laptop and WiFi connection. When I try to play from my own house using the connection I have there I can play freely and everything works. While at my parents', using the very same laptop and a different WiFi connection, I d/c right after choosing the char and typing the PIC-code and return to the log-in screen. I tried solutions like replacing the dll file, redownloading and re-installing the game numerous times. Appreciate the help!
Have you tried running the game in as an Administrator? (Right-click MapleRoyals > Choose "Run as Administrator") And you can also try to run it as Windows XP (Service Pack 3) Compatibility. (Right-click MapleRoyals > Click Properties > Compatibility Tab > Under Compatibility Mode Choose "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3) > Apply > OK) If it is grayed out and you're unable to select Windows XP, first click on "Change settings for all users" at the bottom of the Compatibility tab. I'm trying to solve my own issue right now but either way I hope this helps you.
Just tried both of these solutions and sadly none of them fixed the problem. Thanks for trying though
