MapleRoyals Staff should show their Solidarity and Support for BLM

Given I don't normally use the forum as often as I used to in the past, but I want to take the time and opportunity to request the MapleRoyals Staff to show their Solidarity and Support for BLM, times are tough as we know it, but what we can do to is to show Solidarity and Support for BLM due to the horrible police brutality that has been happening and I won't tolerable any jackasses that I shouldn't doing this, you can do me and other people a favor and frick off already.

How can you help and contribute?

Buy a Messenger in game and say "I show my Solidarity and Support for BLM."

 

I've been involved in anti-racism work for a long time and I'm happy to talk to anyone who wants to learn more about this issue, especially given that the majority of this community is not based in the United States.

 

MapleRoyals shouldn't do shit, not everything revolves around USA. Most of us are from Europe anyway and we don't have problems with our cops killing black people or any problems with racism for that matter. All form of racism is already frowned upon and heavily sanctioned.

USA is just a richest third world country with backwards laws and your people are less educated than people living in a village in Ethiopia.

We really do not give a fuck of what is going on in there, we just follow it for the memes. Stop looting the stores and start participating in politics, vote for the right people and vote your corrupt leaders the fuck out of the government. I saw someone brought a guillotine to one of the protests already, use it on your political leaders instead of cops.

I want to start with saying I have removed the links from your main post, and I will be leaving up the majority of it, along with the thread. I see no reason to delete it but I do anticipate that this thread will get derailed pretty hard (already is a little).

We (Staff) have decided to close this. Now onto what I personally, will say.

While I can certainly understand the sentiment this really isn't the place. If people really want to help and spread awareness the best thing people can do is go out and peacefully protest, or bring water bottles (sealed!) out to protestors because it's summer and hot out. No one is changing any racists minds by smega'ing in the game (tho people can still do it!)- and to be completely transparent we have a mostly (best we can) pretty apolitical server here. This is by no means an endorsement of police brutality however so please dont @ me lol.

I encourage people to check out the NAACP official site ( here ). I would also check out the ACLU ( here ) because they're working double time taking care of all the people getting fucked over by the police as of late (as well as everyone else in general with what they do). I would avoid... let's be honest- barebone sketchy links. There is a very good chance there are links and websites being made out there to take advantage of what's happening and we can't really endorse what we don't know (sort of like what happened on Instagram where the "official" tags were hijacked with black squares for a day which made it impossible for protestors to find info).
