While in this journey of Collector, I just finished 200 sets (and I'm so happy with it and willing to get 250), and I found some curious stuff that may you guys wishes to know: Jr. Boogies doesn't has cards in Monster Book; Firebrand drops a Magicodar (level 88 Wand) wand which isn't listed in its card; Firebrands shows its first form in Monster Book, while Blins shows its second form: Morphed Blins. Lets keep the list...

Do you know if it's possible to get the legendary collector without the cards from the level locked PQ's?
Does anyone have a recommended list of mobs to skip? Some of them seem to not drop cards for hours or just have terrible spawn
Spoiler: some bad boys - male boss - fiery - jr. boogie - D. Roy - MT - 09 - Maple ater, boomer, Fire Tusk, Nightmare, dark nependeath, - Homunscullo - Squid - Brexton - crimson Tree (red) - firebomb - both tigers in korean folktown - rombot - jonin For me the mentionned ones did not drop a single card despite hours of farming. It might vary from acc to acc due to RNG I guess. Edit: I think it is best to go and try for 30 min. If you dont get a card by then you can most of the times already tell this mob will be taking long. This behaviour is somewhat efficient since you can get Master collector like this. Only above 300 sets, you really have to take your time.
I think anything that has a low spawn rate, Fierry (or however you spell it) Batoo, Tauromacis/spear, Lycanthrope, Werewolf, etc. should be avoided. If the spawn rate is decent, I'd go for it.
Thanks for the guide Madori. Great info in this thread. Just hit 250 sets myself and couldn't be happier. Really enjoying the journey! For easy count, I recommened fellow collectors to keep track of your progress in a excel spreadsheet file.
I'm not sure if anyone has done this already. I basically took Becca's compilation and put it into a spreadsheet. It makes it a lot easier for me to complete the cards by World rather than by book and it lets me keep track of what I have already completed. Please feel free to make a copy of the Google Sheet for your own use. How do you avoid collecting monster cards from monsters? I have no interest of collecting and completing the book. I don't like things left undone, nor being compelled to complete it because of a game mechanic that lit a fire under me. Any options or implementations to have a setting that prevents cards from being seen or picked up as well as getting rid of exist cards already logged in the book for the future?
You'll have to put them on item ignore. Every single one because there's no "Ignore all monster book card" option (Make a feedback and suggestion this idea <3)
