When the event started I kept the Puzzle King Guide on one of my accounts and threw it away on all others as Gaga stated that you could get the guide back from Cassandra at any time as can be seen here: When I speak to Cassandra though she says the event is still in progress as I am missing the item she is supposed to give to me. Can you please look into this ? Thanks in advance
i think that actually means u can speak to cassandra and she will give u 1 and only 1 guide also, staff reply:
The light bulb gives you the item, not cassandra iirc. I read Gaga's guide thoroughly before throwing them away as it was pretty clear I could get it back with one click. Can any admin confirm we have to recollect all the items again and/or if we can at least get the sunshines refunded ?
did u perhaps not notice that after u click the lightbulb, u speak to cassandra? also, if u find cassandra, u can accept the quest directly from her instead of the lightbulb
I did not notice that clicking the light bulb made me talk to Cassandra, no. Same counts for all the other people this happened to. The way Gaga says it really sounds to me like I can get the item back, English is not my native language so that might be a factor but I still think I had reason enough to believe I could get the Guide back. Even more so, in the Dutch, French, Spanish and German language a copy means a replicate so not a first time owned book which it probably said in English. When Gaga says she will give a copy of the guide to me it meant that she could give a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, ... I'll wait for a definitive answer from an admin and it might help to change the wording even tho I think there will be more report bugs to come considering this matter as people will keep on trying to finish the quest.
Unfortunately we don’t refund player error, and there are already a few posts exactly like this one. I agree the wording is a bit weird, I don’t know why it’s worded like that so I’ll just @Matt for when he’s able to see it Matt said before, that you need both to complete the quest, it even says it in the quest log that you need the puzzle pieces and the puzzle guide so why are people throwing it out? That’s what I don’t understand. It is a quest item, keep it. Make space for it, don’t throw it out. you will have to get the pieces again and do NOT throw it out please!
I'll take my loss no problem but the fact a lot of people threw away the item means something isn't worded or set up entirely right. Be it the language barrier for a lot of people or the fact that a guide seems something that you don't need if you know what to do. I'm really happy with all the work done by you guys and the events as a whole but it might be better to change something about this little part because there are undoubtedly more to follow after me. Yeah I toss it away too... and to be fair, that book shouldn’t be necessary for completion, it clearly is just there to help understand how to get each piece (if Gaga’s explanation wasn’t clear enough)
