Remember when you used to go by "Genesis" on another server pre-Zofran era? I do.

    Alright so...
    1. We only ban people if they break the rules
    2. We dont ban people because we just dont like them.
    3. We havent banned people just because we dont like them (if we could gert would be serving a "you need to be this tall to ride the ride ban" lol)
    4. Not sure who is telling you these stories but Zofran was banned and is continued to ban because he broke the rules and isnt allowed here.

I cant give you exactly a date or names of players who have been affected. I just have heard of that as a story from other players, Israeli players I talked to in my language. And from posts I've read on the forums, but havent seen it happen in my eyes. If you've never done that before I apologize, but if someone from Staff banned other player in the past without that player violating any rules or doing something extremely bad, you must look into it and take that case seriously if you have an intention to be fair with your players and treat players the right way.

You can ban a player even if its because your breakfast wasn't delicious this morning, or your dog messed up your house, technically you can. What I mean to say is if you ALWAYS ban players because they violated rules? Or you'd ban a player sometimes also because you just want to or because of a bad mood.
That's what you say and I believe you of course. I'm only asking about it because I was curious to know, but I still believe not all bans were 100% fair with other players. But, that is something that could be the case on many other private servers. So I'm not just saying that about MapleRoyals, I'm saying that about private servers in generally. Since they're not official, their bans might not be 100% fair too. It kind of makes sense about private servers.

You dont get to the top of GTOP just banning people for no reason.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The people who tend to have issues with this sort of stuff are the ones who break rules and don't think they should/be banned. We are very open about unbanning people if there's a mistake (aka caught up in a IP ban, etc).

You should be happy to be compared to a hero who fought long and hard for the good of democracy (as evidenced in his numerous polls) and debate in this forum. Never had we such an outstanding player who ferciously invited debate and solicited, sought out opinions from common folks like us, and explored little-mentioned issues like gaming-life balance that needed the spotlight.

He could have been just like any other player here, but instead found it in himself to demand the same of others that very ability he possessed - his much-prized ability to ponder, examine issues deeply, look inward, and reflect on his mistakes (here). He united players from different continents and across oceans together in such a fashion never seen before. In my opinion to be compared to such an admired and respected hero is like being compared to Socrates and Marx.

Fun fact: Did you know that 15 people wanted him as GM?

I dont remember where I read it on the forums to provide you with a link to a post. I remember some Israeli player like me, we talked in Hebrew in game and he told me he had a friend who played on MapleRoyals. And that friend got banned just because one of the GM's of MapleRoyals didn't personally like him, not that he did something that violated the rules. Of course he could have lied to me and made up that story, but I have a feeling it was real.

Have Israeli players specifically been frequently banned or are generally considered bad players? Or it has nothing to do with Israel or Israeli people, or the fact Zofran was from Israel like me.
I'm glad to hear, and sorry if I was rude about this issue. I just have heard it from other Israeli players I talked to on MapleRoyals in Hebrew who told me a few things. It could have been just lies, but I think atleast some of the things were real and accurate. But I am not complaining about anything.

There's a post I can quote to show you saying something, but its in Hebrew. Would you understand it without translation?
Enough of these jokes. No heroes, nothing. I'm not trying to be a hero. The main reason I started this thread was to think of a solution to the problem some players continue to think I could be Zofran. I think I found a way to deal with this problem by now.

I would recommend not using that story as the reasoning unless his Ban Appeal is shown that the GMs were indeed being unfair

Would be better if you can provide posts/links, else we can't proceed with what you mean by GMs are able to ban whoever they dislike

Well, I started this thread to solve the Zofran issue and not to provide proof of how the Staff are possibly being unfair with banned players. I heard stories but they could be just stories, not the truth. So I'm not blaming or accusing anyone and it's all fine.

Let's just lock this thread now and move on with ourselves.
