I cannot connect to the game for the life of me. I am able to get past the log in screen but once I select my character and enter my pic, it goes back to the main menu with the prompt "Unable to connect to the game server (try to log in another time)". If I try to log back in too fast I will get "this id is already connected". I've tried reinstalling the game and still have the same issue. I am able to play on my wired PC just fine, the game just won't work when I try to play on my laptop. Anyone have any solutions or suggestions?
Same problem. I've found this issue on the forums elsewhere and trialled and tested basically every fix I could find, with no luck. I don't have a way to play on Ethernet at the moment, so I actually haven't been able to play the game for about a week. I've even tried to use my phone hotspot to test if it's my network as well as reset the modem to generate a new IP, with no luck. Just to clarify, if anyone else joins the thread are we all on wireless? It could potentially help the Admins get a fix.
I am having the same issue, however i am on Ethernet. i have tried to reinstall the game, add exceptions in firewall, disable security, and tried a myriad of other solutions. No Vpn. Latest files installed, including the new .mr.dll file. reset network settings. also changed compatibility settings. and reset router.
All issues are resolved by: 1) Before downloading the new files, disable your antivirus software. As it sometimes corrupts install files. 1.1) If latest files are not installed you will not be able to play the game properly and will encounter countless issues. 2) Disable your antivirus and firewall during installation. 3) Exclude the MapleRoyals folder from antivirus and firewall. 4) When launching the game please closely pay attention to your Antivirus'es logs and watch for anything MapleRoyals related. Fixed!
