Umm, about accounts being secured by IP address, could you explain how this works for people with multiple accounts and more than one computer? I've got 4 accounts and 2 computers, and would like to know if I have to re-register IP address every time I switch between accounts on one comp, or log any of the accounts onto the other comp (which I frequently do, so I can trade stuff between the accounts).
This should not affect you. As long as you are in the same location, you should only need to register each account once to your current IP. You are also allowed to have the same IP registered to multiple accounts.
OK, thanks very much for the info, John! I presume this means that on the rare occasions where I'm staying with family and playing from a different location, I'll need to re-register the IP address?
Could anything to do with this explain why I can only access the website via a proxy the past 2 days or so?
katsuruka, correct. Ali, this should have no affect on you being able or not being able to access the site. This only affects logging into the game server. Though I have had trouble myself over the past several days getting royals.ms to work while others were on with no problem.
Well it's not that I am having trouble accessing it. It is as if the website is completely down when I try to access it from my regular browser and has stayed that way for 2+ days for me. It's REALLY annoying to have to open my Tor browser just to view the forums and vote. It takes a really long time for pages to load through proxies. Not to mention the fact that if I have to reset my modem, I'll be screwed on registering the new IP, since I cannot access the website on my normal IP.
