Hello, I'm Kona. I'm a returning player from a couple of years ago. I was wondering if any of you like to role play with your characters? Does the character you make represent your in-game self, or are they like an original character to you, with a background? A story? I'm interested in hearing everyone's response! As for mine, my character is an Oread nymph who guards a divine mirror in the mountains where dragons dwell. She is sometimes called a 'mother of dragons' because of how many she's taken care of in her long life. That's about all I have for her so far!
Never even thought about it and frankly I find the concept of “role playing” incredibly nerdy, weird and cringe worthy (sorry to those who do it, nothing personal, I’m just being honest). I dress my character however I think looks cool at the time and there isn’t anything more to it.
Mm, so I guess when I say 'role play', I'd probably leave out the writing part and just pretend my character is doing all these quests according to whatever her story is. Designing the character, naming their pets, choosing what quests seem in character--those things, to me, are fun! No hard feelings, it's definitely an unique concept. I'm a writer, so I take every opportunity to create! That's partly why I love RPGs. I enjoy putting a character forward into their own story.
My ign is dayhime and hime means princess in japanese so sometimes people treat me as if i was a princess. It's kinda funmy Not gonna lie i would love to be one irl haha
in GMS i used to hide in the kerning potion shop basement and yell at people to help me get out for a small fee
I currently resort to forum roleplay, but I’ve done in-game roleplays in the past. If I had the tolerance and cosmetics that I wanted in-game? Maybe? My main issue personally is that I’m a bit too wordy for the chat message limit, so most of what I say might just end up getting chopped to pieces.
