Hi going to make a feedback to a recent incident that happened to me where I wasn't allowed a refund over a server sided issue. (You can view the thread here : https://royals.ms/forum/threads/pickpocket-zakum.170522/#post-998246) Now honestly losing out on an EOF and drops isn't the end of the world, I ain't gonna lose sleep over it, I'm making this feedback because I don't understand why I wasn't allowed a refund. I believe refunds should be handed out of it's not the players fault. If you NPC your white scrolls or Gizer over your apple then that's on you for example. In this situation I didn't know Zak would not drop items over mesos explosion finishing it off, I'm not going to look up "Will zakum body 3 drop loots and give exp if I finish it with mesos explosions" This isn't how zakum is intended anyways so it's a server issue (glitch). The argument on why I wasn't able to receive a refund was because this is "Common knowledge and has been happening for a while now" but that doesn't make any sense because how is a new player or like a returning old school player like myself suppose to know? It's like a twitch streamer getting mad because someone asked the same question someone else asked 3 hours ago, the person probably wasn't even tuning it at the time and typically the streamer will repeat themselves over and over. Same logic here IMO, I wasn't active when this was a glitch and I feel like getting punished because i didn't keep up with the glitches isn't right.
It wasn't because it was killed with Meso Explosion, it's because it was killed with a glitch with Meso Explosion that keeps the mesos from actually exploding and disappearing
Is this a glitch? (yes) If so, Was the specific player told/warned about it? If not, server's fault. If so, player's fault.
It's unfortunate you had to find out the hard way and learn about it after your run and initial post that the finishing blow on a monster should not be done with glitched meso explosion mesos. We have tried to continuously make people aware but we understand that not everyone will spend a lot of time on the forums and in-game friends trying to catch up with what they missed. In the previous thread it was suggested to make a permanent in-game notice of this particular glitch which would be in the way of every player whenever they are online so I don't think that's the best option. Accidentally glitching with meso explosion (and being part of their party) what seemingly happened here isn't punished with a ban for glitch abuse as we also understand they aren't doing it on purpose / might not be aware of the glitch however to strongly discourage it we don't do any refunds of any kind for these cases anymore.
