Greetings fellow MaplerRoyalers, As most players are aware, the Mac client for MapleRoyal is less stable than the Windows counterpart. Disconnecting in boss fights like Zakum and Horntail is very common. I first tried Zakum on the Mac client. Instantly disconnected when he spawned. Warped back by GM. Disconnected again. Repeat. 'Twas a fruitless pursuit, and as the HBer of my party, I contributed to the death of some other looters (sorry Coorey and others!). To get around this, I ran Windows 7 using Parallels 9. Installed the Windows client of MapleRoyal, and presto! During the run I GFX'd every minute or so out of paranoia.
