The implementation of the 1 Billion Meso Coin will heavily shift meso storage for well funded people. Before the 1 BMC ppl can only store up to Max meso x 6 on one account. Now it is possible to store 96 x 6 x 100b on each account. This would mean that well funded people no longer have to buy massive amounts of ws and cs to store meso. This will have a negative impact on the economy because the meso supply will decrease drastically. Well funded people no longer have to buy ws and cs from low to med income people to keep their wealth. They can simply just buy more 1 BMC. This would mean a decrease supply of meso in the economy. Price of everything in fm will drop sharply. People will 100b in ws or cs and simply covert to pure mesos, which will take 100b mesos circulating in the economy out of the economy. This will cause massive deflation that will only benefit the extremely rich people because they can buy more stuff with pure mesos. I believe that 1 BMC is a mistake and should be taken out of the server. Sooner or later it will ruin the economy.
I mean, they just recently implemented it. I think we should give it some time before already asking for it to be taken out.
Valid points but let me add a few things in perspective. Note that people will still much prefer to trade in ws/cs when buying a high priced item. This is due to the 30m tax on the buyer per coin traded. This means that when someone is buying a 10b item with just coins they will have to take on a tax of 300m and im pretty sure most people are not going to willing to do that. For wealthy player's Imo it is best to make sure to have a few BMC's and rest of your assets in ws/cs. This is so that during a high priced trade you can easily use ws/cs to avoid the trade tax but still have some BMC's in case you find things to buy in the fm stores. To your point you are right that mesos will be less distributed into the economy since wealthy players wont stock cs/ws as much and will stock some BMC's instead resulting in deflation. However some deflation would be very good for the server at the current time since we have seen such a heavy inflation in a short amount of time

Probably not, if I have something you want to buy, why should I pay a fee when I trade over something when I can exchange it for an equivalent item thats almost as liquid as meso itself? Theres simply no incentive to buy the 1B coin.
