    I actually applied for a whitelist but was told to show our faces while holding a paper with our ign written on it. We were not comfortable with exposing our face and did not follow through with the whitelist.

    After which, I just decided to vote on my phone mobile data while my brother would vote using the house wifi.

    However, it seems that it is still considered Vote Abusing. Hence, the 14 days ban.

    Since you didn’t make a white list application it would be considered vote abuse because you would have to take turns voting with your brother every other day. You aren’t allowed to vote from your mobile connection while your brother votes using the wifi on the same day unless you are accepted on the voting white list.
