i'm not sure if i should replace my stonetooth with a shield and sword
I have already read many guides that are already available, but none of them relates to endgame content only.

    questions i ask myself...
is the range of 2h (how far it hits) important ?
guardian 15% avoid even worth ?
still able to hit dmg cap ?

Is there anyone who can help me with my decision? :)

Also which 1h and sword would you recomment

does speed matter if every pt contains a bucc ?

    Im guessing youre a paladin?

It depends. guardian is extremely useful at auf haven, keeps her pinned very well. The most major benefit of using 1h is the pots usage. You will save a lot of pots throughout a days worth of bossing. The only time 1h sword range is noticed is at zakum top right arm. You never run into any other problem with the range difference, its just too small of a difference, and im not 100% sure there is a difference when using blast. But there is Definitely a difference with ACB, its just easily mitigated.

Biggest negative of 1h is your damage while using stoppers or apples. The 2h multiplier is too high to compete with. If using any other attack pots less than stopper, 1h should be outperforming similar priced 2h swords. I still hit damage cap with my 1h+shield. Though, rarely. And SE helps a lot.

I recommend a sparta (fast 5). Theyre cheap and easy to farm. You can also go flame sword, which is (fast 4). Just remember that its about 9.5% dps difference per change in attack speed. But i have si more often than not, so i just go sparta. With si, the speed is tied.

If you want to get nerdy:

If you stay 2h sword. Get a dragon claymore. Its much cheaper per weapon attack, and you gain so much dps from not needing 120 dex. Just make Bucc friends and youre fine.
