Hey just wanted to talk about the maple tree for a second. I had so much fun this year getting to donate a lot to the tree this year! Today i donated my last sunshine's to the tree (for this year). I found a good stopping point at 3 million sunshine's donated. i was asked at least 15 or so times why i do what i was do. i told them all the same; I love bringing all the people together. of course its fun seeing my name at the top, but my most joy was seeing all the people come up to the maple hill ! I loved how cake brings us all together, so i wanted to do the same for the tree . i really truly enjoyed getting to "host" / "pop" / "boom" / "pewpew" the tree almost everyday! No there is no reward for being top donator, but to be completely honest, im kind of glad. I figure if there was a reward, such as a gm event prize, then i bet a whole lot of people a whole lot richer than me, would be fighting me tooth and nail everyday for that spot. THIS way, i can know in my heart the main reason i did this was to bring the people together. (A lot of people ask me if i could pick a reward, what would i chose? NX event item? Chair? Medal? Im not expecting any prizes for obvious reasons but if i could pick i would love a 1 of 1 medal (the only one in server). Wouldn't have to be any stats, just a 1 of 1 haha, again not expecting anything, im just thinking out loud) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For Thanks: Thank you to all the people who just plain donated sunshine's to me. i wish i saved your names down somewhere, but in the end my estimate was over 250,000 sunshines where donated to me from "randoms" (non-friends). Thank you to my friends who donated to me whenever they could, because and only because they were my friends and they donated because they loved what i was doing! Thank you to the 5 or 6 mages ive met, who donated / sold to me and only me! Thank you to the 4 or 5 merchants who would only put up sunshine's in their store if they checked i was online and available to buy! Thank you too, for coming to the tree as often as you could, maybe now you know how much it really meant to me. Thank you to the 90 odd people who famed me over the course of me donating! Thank you to everyone currently on the rankings! you all have donated A LOT more than the required 5,000, which means you donated all that extra just to see the tree grow, for the people! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For Bragging: I really don't like to brag but this one time imma do it real quick. I first hit #1 in the rankings when i hit 38,000 sunshine's donated and i haven't seen #2 since When i first started my road to 1 million, sunshine's were 5-7k each. today they are 500 mesos each 3 million sunshine's is 30 full 100%s to the tree. i donated 3 million sunshine's in 37 days.
