IGN : DrakeOnikawa Problem : 2nd Job SP Reset didn't work at first, but worked too much afterward Details : Hi everyone, I'm rather new here, I recently got a little nostalgic about playing Maple and decided to try a private server with decent rates and this was the top rated server so I booted up the game. My main is a Fighter at level 37 (DrakeOnikawa), and I originally wanted to main swords, so I invested in those skill points. Then came my friend who joined me and he wanted to make the exact same character as me, but since I didn't want us to clash, I decided I should spend some time (and NX, since I have no use for it currently and is actively voting everyday), to respec my character to axe. I went to buy a whole bunch of reset scrolls at once yesterday night, and to my demise, the skill points that I removed didn't get removed and stayed the same. In a fit of frustration, I tried and tried again to remove the SP I allocated to my Sword skills and tried to up my Axe skills, note that I was already rather frustrated and disappointed at this point, and it's really late at night, but nothing happened, disappointed, I went and made a new character to play a BW paladin. I arrived home from work a little earlier today and tried to see if anyone had the same problems as me, and someone mentioned that I should log out and log in and the effect will take place, I tried logging into my character (DrakeOnikawa) and open the skill tab. I see that I have -5 points in Final Attack (Sword) and the game booted me out immediately. Is my character doomed? Do I have to buy EVEN MORE Skill Resets at this point to get my character even working? I know that I can't delete characters in this server due to it not being implemented yet but I really dislike the idea of having a character in my account completely dead and frozen and unplayable, even if retraining doesn't take too long. I hope I get a reply for this! Please help a bro out
Your skill tab should be working again. Final Attack has been set to 0, and since you had 5 SP too much I lowered Axe Mastery to 1 instead. You will also receive 5 Second Job SP Resets that you lost, though because we don't have a ~GM command in game right now it will be a bit difficult to contact one for the refund, once you do you can point them to this thread.
I see that you're a Singapore player. I can refund you your 5 2nd Job SP Reset when you are online. I'll normally be available to come online at around 1130pm everyday (since that's basically the time i reach home).
