Hey guys. I've spent a lot of time camping/channel hopping for a Manon (days now) for this stupid Genesis quest. Imagine how happy I was when I finally found one that wasn't already camped or being killed! So I successfully killed it but COULDN'T LOOT ANY CRIES? Man I was pissed. 3 dropped but I couldn't pick any of them up. I could loot a Manon Tail, I got EXP and NX Cash, but couldn't touch any of the three cries that dropped. Can an admin gift me a Cry or something? Farming Manon is a real pain and to be denied these Cries really sucks... Video proof:
This is not a bug, nor is it refundable sorry. There's 2 different Manon Cry items in the game, one for the original quest and one for the repeatable version of the quest. If your friend is or was on the repeatable version of the quest and helped you by dealing the most damage to Manon, he will need to leave the map before it dies to let you finish it off if you want your version of the cry to drop. In this case your friend did the most damage and did not leave the map so his version of the Manon's Cry dropped.
Yeah but you saw my friend enter the map with his Priest who is on the Genesis quest and HE was able to loot a Cry, and he wasn't even in the map for the Manon kill! Are you seriously telling me this is working as intended?
