My hermit just reached level 120, im at the stage that the quest need a Heroic Star and a Heroic Pentagon. I went to fight Manon first, it dropped the pantagon, i hunted few Griffy, but the Heroic Star didnt drop so i follow another guild which suggested me to buy secret spell scroll from ludi. Ideally u can swap the scroll for both Heroic Star and Pentagon with the Chief in Leafre, but when i got back to Leafre and click on the chief there was nothing I could do beside buying magic seeds from him. I heard someone else had this bug as well, I think its because I bought the scroll after I got one of the quest item. My IGN: LichKingNZ I wish u can just delete the scroll from my inventory and return the money i spent on it or swap the scroll for Heroic Star. Thanks
If you drop the pentagon are you able to trade the scroll? If that doesn't work, you can try ~gm and ask to trade the secret spell scroll for the items.
I dont want to risk it, cuz its a quest item, if u drop it, it will disappear. My friend told me last time someone else who had this problem waited 3 days for gm to fix the same problem. I think ill just go fight griffy see what will happen.
Well GM help is guaranteed since this is a problem. The options you have are Drop it then try to trade the scroll for the item. Hunt Griffey and hope it drops, can't confirm if it even drop. Re do the 4th job advancement by forfeiting the quest and do it over. ~gm now and ask to trade the scroll for the missing item. ~gm after you have tried option 1 and trade the scroll for both items.
