Hi, some fellow marksmen and I noticed some bugs after downloading the new files today. >snipe's c/d will sometimes be 4+ seconds to about ~7-10 seconds before it will let me use snipe skill again. It was never like this and im sure there will be a fix for this bug. >The patch notes also mentioned that balloon pq will have a balanced team yet there were 2 thieves throwing stars in one of mine earlier just now in one party or 3 I cant remember. >mortal blow also misses in balloon pq rendering it useless still and having to get a bit of distance before fulling being able to land damage on mobs. There is one more bug about MM that exists for about a few patches. The 3rd job's skill Blizzard can not crit for some reason.
Hm, I don’t think blizzard ever enabled crit for whatever reason that is, from what I gathered reading through some old posts on the forums. I figure because blizzard should not be used to attack primarily for damage instead to mob and freeze which is what you’d want.
Maybe you should change the tag to critical. This bug affects all classes with cooldowns, and heavily decreases MM dps which as already low to begin with. Could you imagine if a bug lowered NL damage by 10-20%? That would be hotfixed immediately.
The ability was never designed to crit. The lack of crit is offset by the fact you can perma stun mobs with it.
I wasnt aware that this bug that is affecting me is affecting other classes. However, I have changed title to critical. Thanks.
I think this was already stated by me in the Discord but we are aware of the problem with cooldowns in general. We are looking into it and working on a fix for it as soon as possible. As a MM main this also affects me
Gert, thanks for confirming that there will indeed be a fix for the c/d bugs. I have heard stories where snipe would remain how it is right now which i hope is not the case.
We have discussed it internally and have come up with a fix to make it so that cooldowns work as they previously did prior to Update 66.1
As my recently observation, if you use snipe as soon as it's available (use it when it's ready within like 0.5 second), the cooldown will be 4 seconds as usual, otherwise if u miss that 0.5 second window, the cooldown will be 10 seconds. The cooldown is either 4 or 10 seconds, and it's really tired to keep using snipe in that 0.5 second window. Hope this information will help u fix this problem. Ty for listening.
