Ya, but critical punch won't make us any weaker? lol if anything it's 100% better than the useless stun mastery. Better than that thing IMO. God forbid if we were competitive bossers... lol give us something please!! I feel like we've been nerfed too much! The fixes were nerfs itself. Wish I had video for u that was useful...

Quite interesting as to how he was in transformation in most of the video there @Sila . I honestly feel that a small boost in base damage increase is enough. Its simply the delay in our attacks that make our dps so low but then again I am fine with this since its part of the nostalgia. The delay contributes in a big loss of dpm as most classes can add up this damage very quickly. I'm not saying that we should be a top bosser or anything like that since im perfectly fine playing support but a boost in our bossing potential even if by a minimum effect would be efficient enough to make us solid as an attacker.
He was in transform most of the time because TL was glitched in old source, and it refreshed cooldowns at half the time. lol
Im very curious as to why no player has ever banned for this glitch abusing but then again nobody complained about it since it gave us good carry power. Although I would like to add that glitch did make every bucc who used it a solid attacker as many may not know as shown below.
@CaptainDre the reason no one was banned for it was because it was literally impossible to avoid doing it unless you just NEVER used time leap. Which defeats the point of having the skill in the first place. The glitch that people were banned for was when they would go into cash shop to refresh the cooldown on Timeleap, and thus able to use TL infinitely - which would then allow people to refresh the cooldown of other skills infinitely. Like smokescreen etc.
After playing on Royals for quite some time as a Bucc I will admit your statement is fairly true, it was unavoidable. I'm also sure nothing slips by GM's either so were they not aware when making these changes prior to the new source we would suffer greatly in damage?
I mean, it's not like the staff decided "lets just nerf buccs". Everything that was broken was meant to be fixed with new source. Though buccs did get a slight buff with the stance boost, as well as being able to use other skills inside transform, and supposedly the slight delay reduced?
What I mean by the stance buff in specific is that while energy charge was up more often yes, it basically never worked since it was like 20%. Now it's, what, 80%? 90%? I do agree that buccs could use some sort of a buff, I was just trying to clear things up a bit and add whatever info/stats I could. (Remember I'm making a bucc too, lol)
Buccaneer here, dropping by to give some support. Side note: It really was rather annoying to have to charge up before I can have the stance effect.
I think stance was at 30% after getting 4 hits in for energy charge... now its 50 hits (a lot idk the exact number) and its only for 50 seconds but 90% stance... but for 50 seconds and how quick is that in maple story time?! I agree with Buccaneer, it's been asked several times and people like RealZankyou have come up with great alternatives to make buccs better. Yes, they are weaker than they have ever been. Even DASH was nerfed XD now u gotta hold it down or bb. We have the party buff that's suppose to make everyone faster but were like the slowest class in the game... ironic? Has to be some way to buff us that v83 had so u still get the "nostalgia feel"... even if it's an increase in damage to some skills like barrage/dragon strike or demolition... hell if other classes got damage buffs why not the weakest one? Just my two cents not bashing anyone either if it sounds like it. Just wanna see us thrive!
Dash is actually somewhat better since it isnt overriden by haste anymore at least! Imo you get used to having to hold it down and its never been viable for actually training with. But those 11 points are basically useless anyway since flash fist isnt very useful outside of job advancement, unless you want to go the sin-dit copycat route and go double shot/summersault kick instead. I just put it into Dash so I have SOME Sort of mobility before mounts. Edit: Just want to clarify that I'm not saying buccs are perfectly fine the way they are. I'm all for a bit of a buff for them to be at least somewhat more on par with other attackers.
New to the server with a brawler and struggling without stun lol.....I get hit by mobs even after backspin and double uppercut lol But the delays are abit long tho I agree support +1
I did the comparison when the "new source" was in beta. Same speed. Don't know if anything has changed since actual release. And even with a perfect knuckle and like 9k range or whatever, I was never able to dish out "competitive" damage. Kekturkey whited cuz the heros were probably jumping down to clear mobs. I never purposely perma-demo'd unless we legitimately needed to use TL cuz I like the way barrage looks and my character is too cute to hide.
