All the timer issues from 95.1 still exist: To be more specific teleport, dispel, mobs are all still delayed/random, leading to the same issues as before: Just to give proof and some examples from today's run (I'm not able to upload the full vod this time): Spoiler: first golem at 45.8% instead of 50% Spoiler: 1 min 51 secs tp (multiple pics) teleport: smoke after tp: smoke disappears: and next teleport: This fix did not seem to work at all: 2. VL hitbox now goes under the ground sometimes (i think?): In a lot of cases the damage lines go below the map for a while now: (this happens very often) 3. Golems still overshoot with snatch: THINGS THAT SEEM TO BE SOLVED SINCE 95.1: - Teleport out. - Pushing mobs outside of the map on right side. - Bucc specific fake animations (DP, mob summon). I know this is not a feedback thread, but I have to give you my opinion on this regardless: Over all, the boss is in a really bad state. It's been 2 months of a broken boss because we are trying to chase fixes for something that can be entirely avoided. The boss is in easy mode for the longest time, I can't stress enough how much these timers aligning was an important part of the boss. Theres less mobs, less tp, less dp, less jail and less sync (and on top of that all theres also delayed golems consume). This boss (difficulty wise) was pretty dead since the late 2023 update made it very easy, but now this just straight up makes a lot of my people quit out of lack of interest, why run this punching bag of a boss anymore? If it's not broken, please don't try to fix it - please bring back the old aggro.
Just adding on, 1) Double animation still occurs on VL, albeit lesser than V95.1 2) Snatch still rubber bands both golems and gargs, not just golems There was also a single occurrence of BS not being able to pick up jail key - akin to you not whiting a mob and the inability to pick up the etc for a bit. Wasn't able to recreate it as i was only jailed for 1 more time after it happened. Screen recording was not present prior but will aim to record it should you require.
Had they left/been kicked/disbanded their party between the initial hit on the box and opening it? Because that will result in you not getting main kill credit.
any comment from staff on this? what i mainly wanna know is: 1) is this something you are aware of/want to fix in future patches? 2) considering everything i described in this thread and the previous, is this what you are aiming for to be the final version of vl? some confirmation from staff would be nice
just wanted to chime in (and not sure if this exclusively happens to buccs), but i've still experienced lots of fake animations in the several runs i've been in since the patch, and these have almost always been the dispel and mob summon animations
I'll butt in the convo and say that this is not only a bucc thing. I've experienced many fake animations as a DrK (mob spawn mostly) and now everyone i VL with thinks i'm crazy. There are a lot of animation cancelling (mostly mob spawn + dispell / lightning, sometimes even vulture) going on based on the past couple of VL runs i've been a part of (most recently, yesterday 2 AM Server Time).
Usually I find the animations tend to be skipped, personally. Although that could just be me being bad at noticing them... Last night's run did have a legitimate animation cancel though, canceled golem summon into I think lightning? One of the ones where the summon still goes off and multiple people see the cancel, although no recording sadly
