Not just Chaos Scrolls (550m) and White Scrolls(450m) prices.
Scroll prices like Claw 30%, Wand 30%, Shield ma 30%, 60%, 70%, Gloves ma 30%, Bow 30% are rising every day.

But the meso you get by selling 1hour leech at skele + npc items still stay put at 110m.
Meso has really depreciated in its value.

I am not sure how would inflation affects the overall gameplay but personally, I am having hard times funding my gears due to the prices for CS/WS.
It's like have to leech for 5hours to get a Chaos Scroll and it's not healthy :(

Fixed prices? Do I get it right? If so that s like a stab to free market (not lethal yet)
Slight stab to community as well, instead of doing deals with players these will be done with NPCs.
I believe best way is to let it equilibrate itself.

I'd think prices will stabilize once merchants are fully working with owls again too. The taxes from that play a big role too. Plus fixed drop rates - a lot of things are dropping too high so people have mass farmed them.

Actually I was thinking of a npc to do either Equipment Fusion for a chance to be Godly (item+mesos fee) or re-roll (something like Diablo 3) as mesos get more and more expensive each roll
Another can be CSS 5% no boom which I believe people will bomb mesos to buy it

This are just concept and suggestion only regarding how to sink mesos

Making ws and cs purchasable sounds like a really good idea.
Today's meso-sink system is not effective at all since people use the arrows method and buy items with ws and cs.
The only meso-sink way that somehow works is smegas, although I think the prices for them should be even higher due to the inflation.
    Really liked the idea.

The prices of White Scrolls and Chaos Scrolls are rising everyday probably because more and more players are going to/have reached their endgame. In order to upgrade end game gears, WS and CS are needed.

With more endgame players, the demand for WS and CS are high but the supply does not grow in tandem with the demand. Thus, the spike in prices. Even with Owl and Merchant, I don't think the price will drop.

In my opinion, the root cause of the price spike its due to supply and demand. To make it equilibrium and sustainable, the supply need to match the demand.

Its basic demand and supply. 5 people fighting for 1 cs/ws of course the price will increase. Mesos is not the problem here but the supply is. So the solution to the problem is to increase the supply by whatever means feasible, suitable and acceptable.

However, if you look at the bigger picture. You basically need more players. Before anyone refute by saying 'oh look at the online counter, it was like before', think about what state the server is in. The online counter may show 1.8k online but the legitimate number of persons playing is definitely lower than last time. Look at the unhealthy signs. Maps aren't as full as before; you have to smega to do a pq; etc.

So what I'm saying is the number of people who quitted exceeds the number of people who joined. And since there is no fix to this problem (you can't force people to join), you have to implement something to stabilize the economy, just like what governments do in real life.

I disagree with the fact that the supply of ws and cs does not grow; clearly more people do gachapon than before; the server's population grew, and lots of players saved their nx to play the gachapon (back when cs wasn't working).
Although I do agree that the demand went up, I doubt it caused this kind of inflation.

Yeah, the supply of WS and CS does grow but just that the demand outgrow the supply significantly.

Keep in mind @Tazdingo that the arrow method doesn't work anymore. Tax is applied to the entire purchase not individual purchases anymore.

    My bad, good to know!
I still don't think it affects the market as much as it should tho with the increasing inflation..

The system will tax based on per transaction.

If you buy 100,000 arrows one at a time then yes, you could still circumvent the higher tax. Have fun doing that though. lol
It's based on each transaction like Elyss said.

Unless this change happens when the event is taken off the servers on the 19th, I don't think WS or CS will go back down to a "healthy" price with how quickly they are going up at the moment.

Is there any way we could learn what the rates were for obtaining a Chaos &/or a WS from gach? Because it feels like it was a very unsubstantial amount added to the chance of getting one. It feels like Chaos scrolls were somehow changed to a ~0.075% chance to get one & then we as a community asked for it to be upped & was changed to something of the likes of ~0.085% (after new source hit.) When before new source, I was landing a chaos every 35 ticket run if not every other, very consistently since I started playing.

I have no idea the rates or how any of that works. But I can assure you that from a player standpoint I've never seen someone consistently get a chaos every 35 tickets. The average seemed to be about 1 in 100 tickets estimated.

I'm not on nearly as much as I used too, but when I am it seems as though WS and CS are popping up from gach more than ever. Obviously it's a lot about luck, sometimes you get 2 sometimes you get 0 for a few runs. These are end game scrolls, similar to the rare gach end game weapons, it's supposed to be hard, expensive, and time consuming.

Or we could keep ws in NLC gach and just make chaos obtainable from mobs. Why is a 60% scroll with a high chance of failure with limited usage gach only?
