I have a sick interest in the ban appeals thread, I read a lot of them And I've noticed a lot of the same claims people make, " oh I didn't know", no excuse. I started playing royals like a month ago and I love it! I would hate to get banned... so I read the rules, I was shocked! Things did on gms would get me banned thank goodness I read it. And since the rules are wordy and apparently only some read terms and conditions when they click "agree to terms and condtions" I've made a condensed guide to the rules. These are the big things I see in the ban appeals. If I forget something, scold me. In no particular order: 1. Don't say the n-word, idc if you're black, tan, yellow, joking, whatever. Never needs to be typed or said. Or you'll get BANNED ~3 days. 2. Ksing isn't cute, it's harassment don't do it, you'll get banned (in general just try to be pleasant) 3. Minor arguments are okay, but going on all your chars to defame someone is harassment, BANNED. 4. Don't account share. With your friend, "little brother", your sexy girlfriend, it's a bannable offense. If you need a bishop to leech, buy a leech or make your own! 5. Don't spend real money buying ingame things it's real world trading(RWT) and it's bannable. Also bad for the server. 6. DONT use mesos to buy RP stuff THAT is also RWT (think about it) 6b. Don't list your account on a buying site, gms are watching you and you'll get banned, no money, and no account. It's also RWT. 6c. Don't assist RWTers, don't buy from suspect traders, well, if you care about not getting banned of course. 7. Hackers you know who you are, script users, botters, macros, whatever. BANNED. Click on the game and play, that's it. 7b. Your "hacking little brother" willl get your whole house banned so keep "him" in check. 7c. You're not a hacker but you left a brick on your heal button on your keyboard and so your priest is training automatically. Banned. This is robotic play, it's your duty to pay attention to your character, you need to actually play it. 8. You're Not a hacker but, you're partying with a ticket smuggler? Or Partying with a leeching hacker? You're gonna get banned. Even if you didn't know then you "found out" and chose to stay. You're gonna get banned. Leave the party immediately and report them promptly. 10. Don't vote abuse (voting more than once) If you live in a multiple house hold with one IP, apply on the voting white list https://royals.ms/forum/forums/voting-whitelist-applications.84/ 11. Coming back to royals after many months without play? Update your files. Or You will get banned. You get unbanned, but not without that initial, shit-your-pants headache first. 12. Remember once youre IP banned permanently you cannot come back to royals. YOU ARE BANNED AS A PERSON. Go to another server. "I didn't know," is not an excuse. Gms can see you lie. Serve your sentence peacefully. Be a pleasant honest person and you should be fine. Gms have documentation which is why they banned you. If you keep your own maybe more of the saddest ban appeals can be fought successfully. Screen shot suspect activity, And suspect chat logs Perfectly scrolled craven? Video your scrolling.
Could someone clarify how the GMs determine voter abuse? Are two accounts allowed to be played in the same server? Are the votes tracked by the IP address the vote came from or the IP address where the character was last logged in? It seems like everyone here is just voting from different phone lines which seems impossible for the GMs to catch. I just saw another post where someone was voting from 22 different accounts? That seems a bit concerning!
