Hey there, I'm a player who recently started on Royals with no prior knowledge of old school MS, so I've been playing it by ear for the most part. Luckily, this forum has been an excellent hub for information and I've taken it upon myself to read the myriad guides during my grinding sessions and downtime. Of course, with the accumulation of knowledge comes a few unanswered questions. This is where you come in, stranger! 1. How viable is an unwashed end-game Bowmaster in terms of A. bossing and B. funding future characters? (Hunter planning on pursuing Bowmaster) - Many players will build a Bishop as their first character to fund for their successor character(s), although I realized this a tad bit late. I don't have any particular intention of restarting as a Cleric; I'd much rather roll with the punches. However, I've always been a fan of min-maxing and if Bishop is largely ideal for achieving a washed character then I'm definitely in for a rude awakening. 2. What does end-game entail in terms of content and what can I expect as an unwashed Bowmaster? - It's not my first day on the MMO wagon- I've done my fair share of grinding here and there to reach the fabled 'end-game'. My experiences of enjoyment tend to vary from MMO to MMO and since I've had very little experience with GMS everything is still quite fresh. I guess with context the better question is: how enjoyable is end-game from your own experience? 3. Approximately how much funding is needed to leech from 70-120? - I'm familiar with the hourly rates, though I've never leeched before. Hi, welcome to mapleroyals to answer your questions: 1. a bowmasters is essential in most boss runs since it provides SE which buffs the attackers. so naturally bowmaster is very viable, unwashed tho, you can't do horntail until lvl 170 and you rely on hyper body - dark knight dies/dc's means you die. for toad boss you must hp wash, although that boss is mostly just exp which you could get from anego/bigfoot instead. an unwashed bm isn't viable for ht - the current end-game boss. bishop is largely ideal for achieving a washed character, yes, you raise int on your hunter and leech it all the way to 135, as boring as it sounds. 2. zakum and krexel mostly. an unwashed bm does mostly that from 135-200, @2ScoopRice correct me if I'm wrong pls . 3. if you create a bishop it won't require any funding, otherwise - 70-78(160m) 78-85(200m) 85-105(400m) 105-135(1.6b, moreorless)
