Since the two threads that came after my feedback thread was abruptly locked (for good reasons), I guess it is only right for me to provide a proper closure to what has transpired since. I believe people here have sufficiently expressed what they feel about the issue by now, be it convincingly so or otherwise. But to clarify my position, what I had hoped to achieve with that feedback was not for the members of staff to respond in a robotic manner rid of personality like what @Venin had mentioned. Instead, I was only asking for members of staff to respond to people in a more courteous and polite way. It is one thing to be informal and quite another to be condescending and sarcastic in communicating with the community. I believe it is only right for all members of our community (GMs included) to be accorded with some level of dignity and not be subjected to ridicule no matter the circumstance. A tit-for-tat and emotionally-driven approach in dealing with rude players should and must not become the standard here for the greater good of upholding a positive and welcoming image of the server. This, I believe should be an unequivocal view that both sides would agree with. I am glad that GMs whose professionalism is being held in question are being spoken with by the admins and I hope that we will all see a positive change moving forward.
