@MyungSoo taught me the importance of obvious guides because even the obvious is not always obvious to beginners.
For Step 4 & 5. You should've put "OR HERE" not "AND". It makes to user want to fill out both fields which is pointless in your guide since they end up starting from the beginning. If you have the original un-edited screenshots, could you send me them?
To make this fully step-by step, I would suggest you re-title it to: A Step By Step Guide On How to Fully Vote with pictures Then go, Voting page -> Voting requirements -> type in your user in the first one -> click vote -> right click the link, open in a new* tab -> fill out the captcha, click vote -> close that tab return to original tab -> hit back on your browswer -> type in your user in the second one -> click vote -> click the link -> do whatever you gotta do for UPS these days; And Done. That way the person reading your guide doesn't have to think much at all, just follow instructions step by step fully covered all the way. *(what if they have some unknown browser that doesnt follow new tab requests.) If you want to stick with your dynamic way, at least tell them to make use of their back button in their browser! And don't waste their time having to input their username twice and even 4 times if their browser back does not use caching and saved fields. I feel like the step before you divide them is not joined well with the last step that tells them to start over.
@Oldie I didn't write "AND" on step four, I wrote "any". So I am not making them fill out both. But I did change it just in case it wasn't obvious enough because you can always make it more obvious.
Actually you did. I meant the instructions say pick one, but the picture has HERE - AND HERE. I meant it would be more understandable if you put "OR HERE"
Oh, did you mean metaphorically speaking that the pictures say that and not the instructions themselves? Could you be more specific? I think I've made it obvious enough so the rest is for them is to successfully vote. Doesn't matter if they don't get it done perfectly the first time as long as they manage to successfully vote which is one of the obvious purposes of this obvious guide. After have voted once or twice I think they will get the hang of it.
