Do you think Pole arm is totally useless with the Ski's? I mean, if you decided to play DK there is actually no reason for you to go Pole arm build, am I right? This effect also goes for Hero's with Axes/ BW (Stonetooth)
Heros with axe is severely under rated. You can get a VERY cheap godly axe, and mastery of Bw and Axe have been balanced in prior patches. I wouldnt say its evenly balanced, but since axes are so cheap, you can out damage a hero with an equivalent meso value sword when your a new/low budget player. The only place polearm might be more effective than sky skis is LHC? not sure if anyone has posted results yet but soon a guild mate of mine will be LHC level and test it with his purple surfboard.
Interesting, I knew only recently about the balance system here on Royals. Is it just a change in the code ? Or is it mentioned in the game skills description itself? It should be more published or accessable (Sorry I can't find the right word, not native english speaker xD) for returning or old players who don't engage the forums, I played back in 2006 and knew I will never play Paladin or PA dk again for instance

If you mean "pure/only" PA build then no, theres almost no reason to do that, now, i can confirm that PA performs better when grinding in general,wich till verey recently no body did till the release of LHC. With an equivalent att surfboard, fury will perfomr slighty better than a sky on LHC with SE+SI, and decently better with just SI....That bring some life to those hybrid build drk(if you do this rmemeber you will still use crusher under certain circunstances, but detail that here might be a bit long)
