About Hitts from monsters

    Hey I have got a question -newbie here :D
    so i understand that priest have a skill that lowers the hits they get from monsters .
    While from veteroon I can be hitted for 1.4k they get like 300 and thats fine .
    the problem went when I was training with a lvl 98 ice mage when I saw he was getting hits for 300 as well .
    is that a hack or some skill or item that I dont know about ?
    would like for some answers please :D

    i think you are seeing the damage they receive after 80% is absorbed from magic guard.
