well I started this server now 3weeks ago, and here are my thoughts. I quit. donated over $100 to find out items are character bound and not account bound as no where says they are character bound or I wouldn't have donated. Told a player to mind their own business as they relog on a GM account and try to power abuse being a GM saying how they will ban me and wouldn't tell me what I was doing wrong. I see a lot of people complaining about the ~gm however that can be due to many reasons. Server seems stable for a majority. GM's don't help with any problems that are not server related. being a donor means nothing. So showing support means nothing. Took 7 days to get my donor tag even tho it says within 24hours. To many issues we are told "wait till the new source" which has no release date so to fix any real bugs means waiting an untold amount of time. to many little issues add up in the end. 3 weeks to make a 60/92/135 5.5/10 good luck and have fun
This isn't really feedback, but more you whining. 1. Donor items are character bound because the Cash Shop inventory does not work. We can't make the donor items tradeable, so currently there is no way to make them account bound. The Cash Shop inventory will be working in the new source. 2. Do you have proof of this? 3. Again, this isn't really constructive critisism. 4. I agree. 5. What other problems could you possibly have that a GM should be required to assist you with? 6. Being a donor means everything. Donors allow this server to run. If you truly enjoy the game, would like to continue playing and are able to donate, you absolutely should. 7. I can't really comment on this. 8. There aren't too many life-threatening issues atm, and if one does present itself, the Staff will do everything in their power to fix it. We aren't five year-olds who need to ask every other day "are we there yet?", we can wait for the new source. After all, you don't have to play here, the Staff who dedicate so much time to keeping this server running are doing it out of free will, out of love of the community and the game. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out!
I feel like you just experienced a bad first impression of the server. Most of the points you've mentioned do have their pros and cons so I guess it really does depend on which are more significant to you. Though, is being treated the same as a regular player so bad? I mean, we donated because we wanted to support the server, not to be prioritized by the staff for our own problems. They are donations, right? If you really are leaving, thanks for temporarily being part of our community. If not, try to give it another chance maybe when the new source is released!
You have just started playing, over the LARGEST HOLIDAY PERIOD OF THE YEAR i may add, of course you can EXPECT things to not run as smoothly as they normally do, to many people fail to realise that the GM's have lives/jobs outside of this game. I have been playing this game for just short of 3 months, ive never played another private server, and i will never swap to another private server, this server has its flaws (tim always gets fm1 door spot f5) but it has more positives than it does negatives, if you take a look around the forums you will see that some of the issues you have been complaining about are actually being taken care of in the new source that is coming! Which means that the GM's DO help with things that aren't just server related. You cant expect to have your problem fixed at the click of your finger, you wouldnt get that in GMS, so why would you expect it here? (gm response time on this server is actually fast anyway imo)
