    Hello,

When I was at Papulatos today in a party with Kreupel I decided for the first time to use one of my third job Pirate skills to try and deal some extra damage, the Octopus summon, not long ago it reached lvl 30 after all and I was wondering if it would make a difference. Shortly after I summoned the Octopus it came to our notice that upon hitting the first stage of this boss, the boss broke. If you're familiar with Papulatos' mechanics there are certain attacks and hibernation moves that he uses to ensure for an interesting boss fight, but my Octopus skill rendered this all useless! Papulatos became an object that didn't move and only received damage. We decided to finish the fight anyway and shortly after we were banned under what I believe is rule 19, the unfair advantage by the use of one of my skills that broke this boss.

However we broke this rule accidentally. I did not summon my Octopus with the intention of getting an unfair advantage or breaking anything, I simply wanted it's aid in fighting the boss on normal terms. Upon discovering this bug we probably should've contacted a GM to be sure if it was alright to continue the boss fight but we didn't. We figured it would be ok to finish this one, which was about halfway trough anyway and to not repeat the summoning of the Octopus skill for the next battles to come yet shortly after we were banned.

Again I did not intent to break rule 19, I simply used one of my third job skills to try and deal additional damage.
Sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully you understand we didn't intent to break any rules as I ask you to unban us for this issue.

    Regards,
    Kaizoku

Please use the correct format when writing a ban appeal.
