Hi, recent in-game incident has reminded me of my experience during Christmas event when I by accident dropped my 10th anniversary black cape at fm, and didn't realize what I had done/how I did it at all.
I would like to take this opportunity to explain the details at that time and to share how I'm thinking about the accident.

    1. Basic knowledge: when you use your mouse to switch between two partly overlapping clients you will see the cursor moving like this:

    2. What I observed at that time: cursor of client-B was nowhere to find after I clicked(switched to) client-B, while it still appearing in client-A outside overlapping part of two clients.
    Code:
Client-A (have inventory opened), can see cursor moving when hovering mouse in this area
                          /
---------------- Client-B, nowhere to find the cursor
            | * * * * * * * *| /
            | * * * ----------------
            | * * *| . . . . . . . .|
            | * * *| . . . . . . . .|
            | * * *| . . . . . . . .|
            | * * *| . . . . . . . .|
             ------| . . . . . . . .|
                   | . . . . . . . .|
                    ----------------

    3. What I did: I had totally no idea what's going on. I then casually clicked multiple times on client-B, clicked(switched) back to client-A, clicked client-B again and the cursor appeared. It's been nearly 1 minute until I switch back to client-A only to notice my NX was on the ground, luckily no one passed by and "stole" the item, though.

My takeaway from this accident: (This is 100% my own guessing, I don't have any support for this but it's the only way to convince myself how it happened.)
When switching between clients, in certain condition or extremely low possibility, the cursor will still be functioning on client-A even when client-B is at upper layer. I dropped my NX on client-A when I was randomly clicking on client-B.

I hope if anyone has experienced the same thing, please also share it so that we might be able to determine how exactly it happens. (Or please update me if this is a known bug)
