IGN: Callista Problem: I logged out of my account and into a different one, then when I tried to sign back onto my account, I had to re-affirm my gender characters and my character was gone. Details: I stopped playing about six months but when I tried to sign in on MapleRoyals website, my username and password didn't work. However, I was able to actually log in on the actual game after downloading the new patch. So I re-registered with the same username and password since it didn't seem to register the account (this was before I checked forums and knew that we could messaged a GM for help on "Forget Username"). Since I was able to actually play the game, it didn't bother me so much about the account issue. Then I logged into a different account and signed out. I tried to sign in using the account that still worked, but it appears that it did an actual wipe of the entire account when I re-registered with the same username/password. Also, when I tried to create a new character with the same IGN (Callista), it says its already taken. So it seems to be that the original account is still there?
Are you sure you are logging into the correct account? If the loginID of your old/new account are only a tiny bit different, you might just have logged into the wrong account.
No, it's exactly the same so I'm not sure what happened. Although the old account might have a different email from the newer one, so not sure if that changes anything.
The account with the character Callista still exists and was created 10 months ago, that account was also logged into by you several times in the last week. I can only see you having two accounts, both of which have been logged into by you, and neither have been created this year.
Correct. The issue is I can't login into the account for Callista because both the usernames and passwords are exactly the same. Is there any way to fix this?
Is there any way to change the password on the account with Callista or to remove the 'newer' account?
Can you give me one IGN from each of these accounts? There are no two accounts with the same username.
Nevermind, I'm a goddamn idiot. I was using my id from Nexon MS as a basis for the 1st account, but I literally just realized it could have been my real name. Sorry for wasting everyone's time, but it did not occur to me that I would use a different login ID and not use my original Nexon MS login as MapleRoyals login....
