Hi guys, I've quitted royals for months and planned to play again out of boredom. I had been playing this server since the past 4 years from the UK - means absolutely perfect ping/0 delay. But recently I moved back to my home country in Malaysia. (Life sucks man, could have lived there for another few years but needed to come back for personal circumstances). Anyway. I am a DK player trying to zerk/pot as efficiently as possible. example: Samurai knight as 2 skills: lighting: 2k dmg; wave: 12k dmg (might get the numbers wrong) my max HP: 23k My playstyle is: get hit by wave: 23-12 = 11k HP left. I could take a few more lightings before i really need to pot, but I'll die if I take another wave. So I pay attention to his skill animation - if he is pulling the wave (12k), I have half a second to react (consuming HP pot). If its a lighting attack (2k), i will be fine. If I do it the safe way - consume pot after every wave hit: I lose a lot of zerk timer. I can do that when I have perfect ping, but the situation is different now. Can any MY/SG players advise me how they play under such ping? As far as I know, autopot is not 100% die-proof, it fails me sometimes. Moving forward, how do I ensure the delay won't spoil my gameplay under dangerous scenarios, such as having only 1 second time to react? p/s: my max HP is currently 30k already, but this is still a problem if I am going to other bosses that have skills hitting >15k AND <15k (Meaning decision to pot or not depends on what comes up next - fast reaction needed).
What is your ping for royals to begin with? Don't hunt samurai boss but go for BigFoots which are much easier to pin and hit without return attack. What boss even deals 15k < dmg? Closest one is Toad that will deal about 13.6 when you master achilles. For that, you'll need to anticipate the coming attack and prepare to manual pot instantly as you see the magic attack animation.
you shouldnt die if you keep ur hands on ur pots to use instantly when u realise u are gonna die n what spaarky said abt toad idk bout tat cos jq is cancer
