If Royals is looking for more ways to add HP through gear and also increase the utility of Scarlion/Targa, I think adding HP to the helmets would be a good idea. It would give players an incentive to use Scarlion/Targa helmets even if they already have a decently scrolled Zakum Helmet because of the bonus HP.
I didn't realize that, but I was thinking of a more significant bonus than 25HP. I don't think anyone is rushing to go scar/targa for that amount of HP.
Why not? If the new HP quest is REALLY bad, it can take longer than an hour. That's only a 10 HP Gain for an hours work. (maybe 20 if you're lucky) I can do the Targa/Scarlion Pre-quest and kill Scarlion with any off the shelf bowmaster helping me in less than an hour. Which is a 25 HP Gain. I think you're just not motivated enough tbh.
Not throwing shade, I still think is an idea worth considering, since a significant number of endgame equipment already gives more than 100 HP Master Adventurer Medal: + 200 HP Ergoth Bane: + 500 HP Mark of Naricain: + 300 HP Crimson Arclancer/Dusk Raven: + 200 HP Blackfist Cloak: + 120 HP Red Belt: + 150 HP Black Belt: + 300 HP Increasing the HP that the helmet gives from +25 to at least 100 HP, will help it bring it to par with the rest of the gears.
Jump to conclusions much? I'm happy with the HP I have on my characters, this was simply a suggestion for people or devs looking to add new avenues to avoid washing. 25 hp (1 or 2 washes worth) is a very small dent in anyone's washing goals. You are comparing an unlimited, once-daily quest to a 1 time drop that is one of your most important pieces of equipment. My point is that, as it stands, Scar/Targa helms are only marginally better than Zhelms to begin with. Adding the HP Boost would incentivize Scar/Targa which are relatively ignored bosses as the EXP is not good.
Scarlion and targa helmets are simply better (stats wise) then zakum helmets and still it feels like 70% of the endgame helmets belong to zakum. this is a result of scarlion and targa as bosses do not feel rewarding enough for most players; 1. experience gain from both bosses are very low compared to zakum 2. in order to kill both(or even one) you must use expensive attack potions because of the time limit compared to zakum where you have all the time in the world. 3. drops only 2 helmets compared to zakum where you get more helmets in average, which gives you a higher chance of getting a godly helmet. 4. other drops do not exist, there is not a reward, also 5k drop rate is one of the lowest I experienced. in conclusion +2 stats,+4 jump and 25 hp is not enough to compensate for all the downsides I mentioned above, something needs to be changed if it is in interest to see scarlion and targa shaking hands with zakum. but maybe it is not, maybe the staff believes that scarlion and targa just are in the place that they deserve to be and that zakum should stay the dominant one. +1, it's a bit unrelated to the topic but any buff to those glasses that will result in them being more appealing to work for would be great
I agree with adding more hp to the hat, from 25 to like 100. 25 hp isnt amount of hp to change from zak helm to scar\targa helm.
but the allure of scar/targa is that 3 extra stats which already makes them better than zak (just saying)
