Yo I've recently got my white knight job and looked up some guides and only found one where it says max increased mp recovery. Us that better than the shield mastery or the magic defense breaker skill? And making a Mage currently lvl 25 should it be fp il or cleric I'm kinda leaning towards fp just lookin for input Thx
for WK pretty much max yo ur charges, fire first is the best, and combo attack and i think rest is up to you. Shield master is useless as is def in this game in general. MP recovery is useless too really since you pot anyways and honestly on a PS pot money is not an issue at all. Mage wise cleric will have the easist time lvling follow by I/L, if you go FP you will lvl slower because you have no aoe till later. But its really up to you to what you want to play.
I have no idea if they already fixed poison fog on this version because if not then you lvl really fast coz basically all you do is run around the entire map your grinding on doing poison fog and waiting for monster to drop to 1 hp then explosion and kill them XD ofc this caused log of lag issue as people were spamming it every where back in GMS so idk if its changed on this version or not.
Out of Shield Mastery, MP Recovery and Magic Crash, MP Recovery is the least useless one. So I'd go with that. Max all the charges for your weapon, Charged Blow and then you'll have 31 points spare. 20 for MP Recovery and 11 in whatever is least useless in 1st/2nd/3rd.
There's a couple of things worth mentioning if you're going F/P on your mage and plan to go with Poison Breath/Mist training. 1) It isn't cheap. You'll be training on mobs way above your level and taking a lot of damage. 2) Because you'll be training on Death Teddies at lvl 55+ and Skeles at lvl 76+, it's a good idea to get as much int and/or luk on your equips as possible to boost your hit rate during 2nd and 3rd job. How much magic attack you have isn't relevant when you're doing poison training, because both Breath (2nd job) and Mist (3rd job) do a set amount of damage depending on your skill level and the mobs you are killing. (I would imagine a lvl 70 poison ele wand would boost your poison damage, but can't confirm this as I can't afford one right now.) You'll be poisoning mobs to lower them to 1hp and then finishing them off with Fire Arrow or Explosion. I'm using a (scrolled) lvl 30 Pink Flower Tube from Showa gacha as a weapon as it starts with +3 luk and +3 int clean. It also has fast attack speed, which will be nice when I get Explosion, as this is, as far as I know, the only mage skill in this version that's actually affected by weapon speed.
I'd recommend Pizard hybrid, and as far as I know, this seems to be the most popular build. This is certainly the fastest grinding build. Go Fire Arrow first, with a point in Teleport early on and you're sorted for grinding at Jr Wraiths and later GS5 (or Samiho, which drop Shine Wands and wand/staff scrolls). I've heard this is also a good choice for killing Trojans at CPQ. Max Poison Breath next, then you're ready to train at Death Teddies at around lvl 60-ish. The pot-burn is pretty high, but the experience is very good, and they drop cape int 60% scrolls <3! From own personal experience, I'd probably recommend maxing Teleport third, as it's extremely useful for hit-and-run poison training at DTs. You'll also want to max Meditation, as I'm not aware of us having any easily available godly magic attack pots on this server. The skills that you may not want to max are MP Eater and/or Slow. Poison Breath is pretty useful in early 3rd job when you haven't yet maxed Poison Mist (good ol' Fart Gas!). I also put one point in Explosion after getting Mist to lvl 19, as it's handy to be able to finish off more than one enemy at a time! I'm now continuing to max Mist. The point about lvl 19 Mist is that this is the level when it's able to reduce enemies to 1hp. This is the first time I've ever played Fire/Poison, btw, so I'm largely talking from own experience with a little help from the Ayumilove pre-BB F/P guide and a pre-BB F/P guide on Basilmarket. I'm using these guides to get ideas rather than following them to the letter.
So the elemental wands in this server don't affect Fire, Poison, Ice and Lightning? Also in the new source will we be getting Mist Eruption? PRETTY PLEASE?
if I recall correctly, it raises the initial damage that you do when you use the skill and it hits, but does not change the damage over time, which is a set number dependent on the max Hp of the enemy. MP eater is nice in 4th job - if you're training at ToT (and f/p mages can reasonably 1 hit the blue mobs in ToT) you'll be returning a sizeable chunk of MP per ultimate cast. Meditate is... arguable. The wizard potions in NLC give the same bonus, and if you want to burn the money (or an event like the wish tickets rolls back around), energizers give 10 more. Still, it's more useful than slow. As someone who has an ice/lightning, I would recommend you go f/p. This may be some "grass is always greener," but here's a rundown of what I see as the pros/cons: Pros: - ele wand 5's give int rather than luk - ele wand 5's come from NLC, which is gached more often than CBD that gives 7's. - in skill tables that we may get with new source, f/p ult gets a boosted base attack - summon freezes things (makes newtie training easier) - blue ToT mobs are weak to fire - more options for things you can 1 hit - meteor 30 costs less than blizzard 30 - poison training in 3rd job is faster than ice/lit training, especially from 90-120. Cons: - 2nd job training is slow, and made slower by CPQ being disabled. - Ult doesn't freeze things (matters if you 2 hit, but not once you 1 hit) - chain lightning is (arguably) better than paralyze - summon doesn't damage leprechauns and elder wraiths, makes summon farming more limited. Of course, of the mages bishop is the most common choice, and for good reason (HS, bossing, leech selling). This is just a comparison between the mages, ignoring cleric.
